ADOPTED! SANDIA! HAPPY TAILS! Hello, my name is Sandia and I have been adopted! Boy, oh, boy, you all sure know how to make a pup feel loved! The adoption applications for me came flooding in blowing up the rescue’s inbox! So many wonderful humans wanted me, but one application rose to the top. I am pleased to introduce you to my new humans! They are simply the BEST! Many of you will recall that I was surrendered to a shelter when my previous owners had to evacuate because of the Los Angeles wildfires. They were so sad to leave me but they knew it was for the best given the uncertainty and chaos they were facing. I miss them but am so thankful that my new family welcomed me into their forever home. We have a big beautiful life ahead of us filled with walks, cuddles and snuggles! I cannot wait for all that lays ahead of us!

ADOPTED! KIWI! HAPPY TAILS! Hi, it’s Kiwi here, and I have been adopted! Just a week or so ago, I was surrendered to the shelter because my owners had nowhere safe for me while evacuating from their home due to the Los Angeles wildfires. In light of the chaos and crisis, they asked that the shelter find me a forever home. And, that is when swooped into help. Today, I have a wonderful new home with two humans who love and care for me. I am only 4 months old so I have a lot of growing up to do, and I am so happy to have my forever family by my side. They waited until they had a home of their very own, and I am sure glad they did because I cannot think of anywhere I rather be. .macneil .stuart

✨UPDATE ON ZAINA✨

We’re thrilled to share some hopeful news about Zaina! After several difficult days, she is finally showing signs of improvement. Since arriving at VCA, Zaina hadn’t eaten—a concerning symptom of her battle with parvo—but this morning, she started eating again.

Zaina will remain under the care of VCA for the rest of today to receive critical treatment, including IV fluids, medications, and supportive care for her fragile immune system. Tomorrow, she will be transferred to Sherman Oaks Veterinary Clinic, where a team of specialists will continue her treatment plan and perform further diagnostics.

💔Unfortunately, the financial burden of Zaina’s care is immense. Her total treatment costs are estimated to reach $18,000—a sum that is far beyond what we can handle alone. If you haven’t already, please consider donating to Zaina’s medical fund. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a tangible difference in her recovery. 💔

ADOPTED! MANCHAS! HAPPY TAILS! Hi doodle friends! It is Manchas here to say that I have been adopted! I know that us pups can hold a special place in a human’s heart. My forever family lost their very beloved rescue dog Buster just last year. When the time was right for them, they turned to for a new rescue dog. Lucky for me, they chose me! They adopted me as a way to honor Buster. Isn’t that beautiful? I am so grateful and I can’t wait to bring some more doggie love back into their home.

My name is Jaxx, and I want to share my adoption Happy Tail with you because it has the most beautiful happy ending, and who doesn’t love a happy ending, after all! 😊 Today, I am a happy, tail-wagging, loving-life, confident and sweet hearted doodle boy. My forever human says with each new day her love for me just grows even more! I mean, all dogs should be as lucky in love as me! Some of you may remember that before saved me, I was abandoned - literally left alone after my owners moved. I was abandoned with illness and infection taking over my body. You may remember this is how I lost my eyesight. I am blind. Despite the cruelty of my prior owners, I am a resilient dood, and am now living my best life! Thank you to all the supporters of who donated to help me and who continue to help so many other doodles. Your goodness and generosity make a difference! I am proof of it! Oh, and that’s me on the left, and the doggie on the right is my fur sister Roxy! 🐾

ADOPTED! SANTA! HAPPY TAILS! Hi, my name is Santa, and I have been adopted! The first Christmas miracle came when showed up and rescued me and twelve other doodles from the cold and harsh conditions we were being forced to live in. The backyard breeder who we lived with didn’t care for us at all. Then, just the other day another miracle happened when I was given the gift of a forever home. ❤️ My forever family has promised to love and care for me always. I feel so safe and secure with them, and I can’t wait to become the best family dog! My beautiful happy tail cannot be complete without thanking for grooming me AND the twelve other doodles who were rescued with me. We were in really bad shape after living outdoors for so long and made us look and feel so much better! has even offered to keep partnering with to help with the grooming needs of more rescue pups like me!

Hi my Name is Ziva and of course I’m cute, but I’m really good too 🤭 My foster dad picked me up to foster me. The vet said I’m about a year old and weigh 8 pounds. I’m perfectly healthy, playful, and love following my foster dad around the house. I’m 90% potty trained, and I’m doing so great with my crate training! I love playing with my foster brothers BUT I don’t know about my foster sister. She has major attitude so I leave her alone. I love kids too and I’m very easy going. Foster dad said that he would keep me if he didn’t already have 3 dogs! I’m the perfect pup! He said maybe I’ll move to Newport Beach or Beverly Hills and I’ll get to meet Pop stars so I guess that’s fine🤷🏼‍♀️ Anyways, let me know if you can spoil me rotten, and I’ll pay you back with so many kisses and cuddles 🎀 xoxo Ziva the Diva! Hi I’m Hermey! I’m 2 years old but have TONS of puppy energy. I’m fostered in Los Angeles 🐾I love to play with my people and dogs big and small but I never want it to end (working on this). I’m also a sassy couch potato. I enjoy several afternoon naps featuring a lot of snoring. I’m 95% potty trained and fully crate trained. I sleep in a bed all through the night. I’m in my chewing era - so me and a yummy bone go a long way. I’m ok on leash, getting better but need some training. I am not super trusting of others when I’m in leash, especially men. I also have territorial issues when it comes to people coming into my house. I would do best with an experienced dog owner who knows how to work with reactivity and are willing to work with me on my reactivity and trust issues. The best home option for me would be someone who ideally is home more often than not - preferably with a yard (I love to run around). A couple with one other small(er) dog or no dog. Or a single person who will make me their whole world. And no young kids.

❤️‍🩹 Update on Zaina ❤️‍🩹

Zaina is bravely fighting for her life in intensive care at the VCA, but heartbreakingly, she has shown no signs of improvement. Her condition remains critical, and her veterinary team is working tirelessly to stabilize her. They suspect she may be battling parvovirus, a highly contagious and potentially fatal illness that requires aggressive treatment and round-the-clock monitoring.

To give her the best chance at survival, the vets have recommended keeping her in care for an additional two days to provide the intensive support she needs. This extended stay has brought her medical costs to $10,000, but we refuse to give up on her.

Zaina is more than just a rescue dog; she represents the hope and love that every animal deserves. We are doing everything in our power to save her, but we cannot do it alone. Your support has been invaluable to us during this journey, and we are asking for your help once more.

Hi, I’m Bartholomew! Im a one year old labradoodle , weighing about 60lbs , currently being fostered in Lakeside and I want to be your new best friend.

I’m an easy going chap that enjoys walks, playing with friends and snuggling on the couch.

I love everyone I meet. I get so excited that I jump on them. So I’m best suited in anyone without small we children.

My foster mom calls me a cuddle bug and I want to be with you all the time. I do love my crate so I can stay there when you need to leave the house. I’m potty trained and know some basic commands. My foster family says I am great with drop it and leave it! I’m working on my leash manners and do well with other dogs.

I’m looking for someone that lives long walks, fine foods and evening snuggle sessions in front of the TV. Is that you?

💔 Zaina’s Fight for Survival
Zaina, a 4 month old doodle mix puppy, was found discarded on the side of the road, abandoned in heartbreaking condition. She was lethargic, weak, and suffering from severe diarrhea when we found her, and it was clear she needed urgent help.
We immediately rushed her to VCA Hospital for emergency care. The veterinarians are working tirelessly to stabilize her, but her condition remains critical. Zaina’s recovery will require intensive medical treatment, including fluids, medications, and round-the-clock monitoring to give her the best possible chance at survival.
The estimated cost of her care is $3,000, a significant expense that we are determined to cover because every life is worth saving.
At CDR, we are committed to giving Zaina the love, care, and support she deserves, but we can’t do it without you. This little fighter has already been through so much, and now, she’s counting on us to give her a chance at life.

Hi, I’m Chuck! I’m a 6-month-old, 30 pound, male goldendoodle puppy, and I’m here to wiggle my way into your heart. I am currently being fostered in Long Beach! I’m full of energy and curiosity—life is just one big adventure, and I’m ready to explore it all with you! I love playing with other dogs, running around the yard, and chasing after my favorite toys (I’m still perfecting the “bring it back” part). Hi everyone, Torrey here! 🐾
I just wanted to say the biggest THANK YOU to all of you for your incredible generosity and support during my journey to recovery. Thanks to you, I was able to get the medical care I needed, and I’m thrilled to share some exciting news: I had my stitches taken out yesterday—no more cone for me! 🎉 I’m feeling so much better now and am truly on the road to living my best life.
I also want to give a special shoutout to my amazing foster mom, Debra. 💕 She has been my rock, showering me with love, patience, and care every step of the way. She truly is a blessing, and I don’t know where I’d be without her.

Meet Snoopi! A sweet 6-month-old, 35 lb male goldendoodle currently fostered in Redondo Beach! He’s full of energy, loves to play and wrestle, and gets along great with other dogs. He’s still learning to be housebroken, so he might have a few accidents, but he’s making great progress! He loves to cuddle with humans and sleeps through the night in a crate and is doing well learning to walk on a leash.
So far he loves the dog park and playing with other dogs.
