Cal is recovering from a back surgery after having a slipped disc. More specifically a hemilaminectomy for IVDD (intervertebral disc disease). He loves his therapeutic exercises and is excited to do them. He was rescued from a facility where they do lab animal testing. He was very lucky to be rescued by his wonderful people ❤️. He was however very scared of us at first and was hesitant to even have us touch him. Working with him in a home setting where he feels safe and taking his time to trust us really helps him get the most from his treatments. Now he loves his treatments, naps on our laps during acupuncture and is so excited for his therapy. We love Cal and are so happy to see him moving and feeling better!

We have a new thermal imaging toy! Thermal imaging, or Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging shows temperature variations on the skin’s surface to detect inflammation, blood flow issues, and nerve conduction problems. Now we can see in real time the effects of our treatments. It really highlights how well acupuncture and fascia work help our patients. This patient is beautiful Tofico. He is just over one year old and developed spinal meningitis which is inflammation of the spine. He could not walk because of it and was very painful and sick. He has been working with his neurologist who helped get him back to health. However, on exam we found a lot of areas that were still sore either from his primary problem or compensation. The thermal imaging is showing just how dramatic his body changes after treatment. He is going to be ok with the help of his neurologist and back to his best with physical rehabilitation therapy, acupuncture and fascia treatments. We love you, Tofico!

Welcome to our newest patient, Penelope! Coming in at only 4 pounds. We are treating her for neck and back pain along with patella luxations which is a fancy word for unstable kneecaps. She already is moving around more and feeling better after her first session. Hoping to see her more comfy, cozy soon!

Peaches had her first session today! But poor Herb was so jealous as he is the one who usually has his treatments with us. Peaches has multijoint arthritis and neck and back pain. She had her initial exam, acupuncture, cold laser, fascia release therapy and adequan yesterday and is feeling amazing already a day later! We look forward to watching her feel better every day ❤️
