Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who I am lucky enough to call mom, but looks like she could be my sister. Getting to work side by side with her these last few years has been indescribable. She is the ultimate role model— compassionate, generous, nurturing, hard working, selfless, resilient and not to mention drop dead gorgeous. I wouldn’t be the person I am today if it wasn’t for her example and unconditional love since day one. So here’s to the best mom (to me) and stand-in mom (to all your pets), glo! 💐

Meet Miss Kitty. This sweet stray baby adopted our client about a year ago! She kept showing up at their house at feeding times and has lived there ever since! She lives her best independent life, roaming the streets of Granada Hills and making sure she’s back home when it’s time to eat. Our client basically converted their garage into a studio apartment for her and it’s safe to say, she found the right people to adopt her. She is pretty successful in her bird hunting career and often times leaves her humans presents on the door step. She’s incredibly friendly and enjoys rubbing her face all over anything she can find. Oh, and she loves rolling in the dirt. We like to think it’s her way of getting a massage from nature. What can we say? She’s a resourceful gal! She spends a lot of her days helping in the garden and making sure to keep the pests away! Miss Kitty does have a frenemy named Spanky, who also adopted our clients. But we think they are secretly in love. Our favorite thing about Miss Kitty is the way she runs to the car when she hears us pulling up. Our clients make sure her and Spanky are well taken care of then they travel. As soon as the car door opens, she gives the cutest little meow and leads us to the front door. 🤍🪻🐾

April 24th would have been Bonez’s birthday and it also marks 3 months since he crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. However, as much as I miss him every single second of every single day, I wanted to honor his memory by making today a day of celebration. He will forever be my spooky little soulmate and will now live not only in my heart, but through my business as well. 🧡
This turned into more of a passion project than I ever dreamed of I am so excited to finally share it with all of you (and the friggin’ world)!
Well, it was going to be our first but Petra, the queen of the treats, is also giving us teeeeeeef. So happy too. 🦷

Meet Presley! This 14-year-old Schnauzer/Pinscher/Poodle mix belongs to two of our very own walkers, Emily and Damien! They started out as clients and soon after become a part of our team! HOW COOL IS THAT?! Presley is actually a dog, but is commonly mistaken for a koala in the wild. She is such a happy girl and shows her excitement doing her tippy tap dance! We have to make sure we always leave some extra time when we take her on a walk because this girl takes her time and sniffs absolutely everything she sees! Oh, and if she runs into her small white dog friend, we must stop so they can exchange some neighborhood gossip. We aren’t quite sure if her friend understands her though, because Presley has her own grumble language that makes us giggle. She is always eager to return home to her cat sister, Emmy, and tell her all the things she saw! She’s got a funny body shape, but 100% owns it. Our favorite thing about Presley is her addiction to watching Vanderpump Rules. Without fail, she turns into a couch potato on Tuesday nights a little before 8:00PM with her toy to tune into the newest episode! 🩶📺🐾

But I had absolute confidence that Rio would take great care of them and she absolutely delivered! She was so caring and thoughtful through the whole process! I have three pugs that each have their own medicated food, and some have occasional needs for further treatment including eyedrops and pills and she paid very close attention and understood everything. I don’t think there’s anything cooler than getting to walk one of our clients’ dogs down the aisle at their wedding. Bingo was looking sharp and definitely lived up to his “best dog” title. Meet Luna. This American Red Doberman is a certified drama queen! No really, it even says it in her instagram bio. Without fail, Luna greets us every morning with one of her mama’s shoes or a toy. She gets so excited that it takes a few minutes to get her ready for our walk because the wiggles are uncontrollable. She absolutely knows she’s the prettiest dog in the neighborhood and walks as such. She has a major disdain for the mailman and won’t let him forget it. Thankfully, he finds it funny and just waves at her from afar. She also has 2 boyfriends that we visit on every walk we take so she can get her doggy flirt on. What’s funny is that when her mama walks her, she acts as if she doesn’t know them! She is well trained and catches herself when she knows she’s doing something she shouldn’t be doing, or finds ways to distract herself from doing something bad like pulling. She runs ahead, but then doubles back and does a spin without fail, every time. She is such a happy girl and is always smiling. While she might look scary sometimes, she is actually the biggest softie! And she has the most boop-able nose! Our favorite thing about Luna is how much of a fashionista she is. This girl literally has a better wardrobe than we do. 🤎👑🐾

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of bringing my niece to work with me, with our clients permission of course. She had the best time ever and has decided she wants to work for me when she’s older. I showed her the ropes and even let her type the updates on Time To Pet ✨ Here is a little re-cap of her day: “Hi! My name is Dakota, and you may or may not know that I’m RiRi’s (manager) niece, aka Little D. Today, I went to work with her and got see lots of pets! Mallow and Pixie were up first and are the FLUFFIEST cats in the WORLD!!!!! RiRi and I fed them, played with them and cuddled with them. With Mallow, we played with him in his little tunnel and ribbon toy! With Pixie, we brushed her and she mostly chillaxed! Although, it was my first time meeting them, I immediately fell in love! Next we had Bailey and Riley! Oh my gosh! They are just such excited and happy dogs! We took a walk and I held Bailey. We just jogged together the entire time. Oh, and of course we had to see Napa since she lives so close. When Riley spotted Napa in the distance, she was so excited. They are the best of besties! On the other hand, Bailey just wanted to jog and explore. Bailey and I were in the front while Riley and Napa were in the back gossiping! Lol��! RiRi and I also stopped at a Subway for lunch and we also got ice cream!!! 🥪🍦 After lunch, we stopped by to see to Mr. Ramen Noodles! He is so energetic and FLUFFY!! Esther (his owner) said that we could take him out for a walk! I was sooooooo excited because this was my first time meeting him! I never have met him before and I kept asking RiRi if we could see him. We took Ramen Noodles for about a 20 minute walk and I had the best time! Alright! My final task was taking care of RiRi’s cats— Isis and Odin!! I played with Odin with the laser and a few other toys and I then I cuddled with Isis and relaxed with her after a long work day.
