❤️🌺(Late post from Sept.4th,day before my bday since i had to work on actual bday )
My friends came over and brought all the fixings for a bday bbq ,we grilled hot dogs and burgers..had homemade tater and pasta salad, and a beautiful bday cake! So fun!
❤️I think Mookie and her pals had the most fun there were 4 of them playing so much I couldn't get good pix..lol!

BOW-WOW BAGEL BRUNCH & ADOPTION EVENT! Please join us this SATURDAY, September 2nd from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm for a very special Foxy and the Hounds Puppy/Dog Adoption Event!

We are going to do something a little different this time. We would like to invite all of you this Saturday for a more intimate adoption event where you can meet all of us and all of our adoptable dogs. It’s going to be a beautiful day, so come have a bagel and some tasty treats, hang out with us, and really get to know our amazing dogs without all the chaos of some of our larger events. We have so many great dogs, and we want you to get to know them like we do. We will be happy to answer any questions and hope to match you with your perfect new family member!

We will be set up out front of a private home in Woodland Hills where you will easily see our Foxy pop up tents out front!

🩷🩷In honor of National Dog Day I am reposting Lily, a 2yr old sweetheart girlie.Though she is totally deaf she was lucky enough to be rescued by Terri Fox of Foxy and the Hounds who got her just before her owners were going to put her down because they couldn't be bothered with her!
🩷🩷She is being fostered by Bob Ingalls one of the amazing Hounds volunteers who has already taught her many commands in sign language! Lily just loves to learn and eager to please and be loved! ❤️An amazing lineup tonite including a Standard Poodle and 2 Old English Sheepdogs..taken from a doodle breeding situation! Our heroes Terri Fox and the dedicated Hounds were there to make sure these beauties can now be in real homes, never bred again and loved furever! TONIGHT, SUNDAY, JULY 23rd from 5:00 - 8:00 pm, it’s going to be another amazing Foxy and the Hounds Puppy/Dog Adoption Event! Please join us Sunday at Concerts in the Park, Warner Center Park, 5800 Topanga Blvd., Woodland Hills. We have many hypoallergenic, purebred rescue dogs coming to this Event… all just waiting for a family to call their own! Adoption fees include being up to date on vaccines, microchip, and spay/neuter:
$250 for seniors 8+ years
$350 for adult dogs 1 - 7 years old
$450 for puppies 8 weeks - 1 year old

There is great contact info thanks to Terri for what to do if you see a dog out or your own gets out..The fireworks have been relentless and Im sure tonite will be the worst! Praying for all my clients and everyone that all the dogs stay safe at home ❤🙏🙏

4th of July is the most dreaded and busiest day of the year in dog rescue! There are an unprecedented amount of illegal fireworks this year and many dogs get out when normally they would not, and frantically run. Every year my home is a safe house for lost and scared dogs and my living room is set up with crates for all the dogs we will find today, plus we have many other safe houses throughout the Valley. We are working with several rescues to keep lost dogs out of our overcrowded shelters this Holiday weekend. We have scanners, safe houses, and teams on the ground ready and able to help if you have found a dog or see one running.

Here is what to do if you find or spot a lost and running dog this weekend:
Do Not Chase the dog! Please make a post in the pages below and/or comment on this post and someone on our rescue team will be able to come help you. Please include the following in your post:
1. Location, Cross Streets.
2. Direction the Dog is Heading.
3. Is the Dog Walking or Running?
4. Quick Description of the Dog, if you can take a pic or video to add to your post, even better.
5. Keep your eyes on the dog and follow at a distance if possible until someone from our rescue team arrives.
6. If you are in your car following the dog, please turn on your hazard lights
7. If you could include your phone number in the post that would help as well.

This is a huge Team Rescue effort! We all give up our 4th of July every year to get dogs safely off the streets and help get them back home where they belong. Please make sure your pets are wearing collars and tags with correct contact information. Plus, please check with your microchip company to make sure your pets microchip information is registered and up to date. All of this helps us get pets home quickly!
