Scorpion was rescued from the San Bernardino Shelter as a newborn along with his mom and 7 siblings. They are growing fast and starting to wean off mama. Andre is a super friendly community cat we rescued from a colony in Compton. He loves people and is very cuddly. He came here with another cat friend named Anton. Feta is a sweet mama who was living at a garden center down the street. She had 5 babies and we took them in to find them homes. Feta is really friendly and loves to roll around for pets. She does well with the other cats and is pretty mellow but we think she might be happiest as a solo pet where she can be the center of attention.

Meet our Spiderman puppies! These cuties just turned 5 weeks old and are growing fast! Their mom May is the very best mama but is exhausted from nursing 8 babies. Luckily, they are weaning onto wet puppy food, so they will be available adoption soon! They'll be getting their first set of vaccines later this week. Mitzi Mae & Thelma Lou came to us when their owner was put on hospice and could no longer keep her dogs. They are very bonded to each other so we are looking to place them into a home together. Pickles is a gem! We rescued him from the South LA Shelter where he was turned in as a stray. He was recently seen at the vet and given a clean bill of health. He is outgoing, friendly and very playful. He also does well with other dogs. He is one year old and has a lot of energy so needs a home where he will get plenty of exercise. He loves going on walks and playing fetch.

Pretty Perdita! We rescued 8 year old Perdita from a cat hoarding situation and when she first came here she hid in the litter box and didn't want to come out. She is a totally different cat today. She loves to greet visitors and is very affectionate and outgoing. She just recovered from an ear infection and is scheduled to have her teeth cleaned next week. She is starting to encroach on her golden years and would love to find herself a loving forever family!

We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our community and everyone who has sent us donations. If anyone who has been affected by the fire needs pet supplies- please reach out to us via email [email protected] or by phone 310-473-5585. You can either pick up items or we can arrange for someone to transport them to you. We are here 7 days a week between 11am and 5pm on Olympic & Sepulveda. Feel free to stop by if you need any items from our pet supply pantry. Just ring the doorbell - you do not need an appointment for the pet pantry.

Thumbelina is the sweetest! She is about 8 months old and very affectionate. If you’re looking for a lap cat, she’d be perfect!

Lavender is the best! We rescued her off the streets of Compton. She was part of a managed colony and she was so friendly. She loves belly rubs, playing fetch, and being pet. She is good with other cats too! She is a perfect 6-month-old cat.

Lilo is an adorable 4 year old poodle who we intercepted through our San Bernardino Intervention program. She is so friendly! She loves to go on walks and is very smart. She has gotten along well with the other dogs here and she loves people so much! She is being spayed next week and is ready to meet potential adopters now.
