This perfect pup is Bambino! He is a one year old poodle we rescued from San Bernardino last week. He is extremely friendly and cuddly, walks great on a leash, and loves other dogs. He still needs to see the vet and get neutered but he will be ready for adoption soon 🎉

Everett and Emilio are seven week old best friends. They are extremely friendly and very sweet kittens. Everett is from a hoarding situation in south LA and Emilio was rescued from the San Bernardino Shelter. They both love sitting in their foster mama’s lap and they really love being together and doing everything as as a pair. They need a little more time to grow, but they will be ready for adoption soon!

We recently rescued Carlisle from the South LA Shelter. He is a shy, senior boy with a heart of gold. He is in good health and is a kind and cuddly guy. Our staff and volunteers have fallen in love with him and we know it's just a matter of time until he finds his forever family. 💜

Erica had been in our care since she was 3 weeks old. She is now a little over 3 years old. She is a beautiful girl with unique face markings. She was rescued as a newborn with her brother Jackson and mom from Lancaster Shelter. She enjoys exploring the cat enclosure, nosing in on other cat activities and making sure she is seen. Erica can be a little hand shy, but after some playtime and just talking with her she opens up beautifully. Erica is a playful, fun cat that is more than ready to find a forever home!

Tortuga is the most outgoing and cuddly boy. He came to us injured and we thought he had a broken leg because he was walking funny. Turns out that he had a broken vertebrae in his neck! He had to wear a neck brace for just over two months and is SO HAPPY to have it off. He is all better now and loves to cuddle and play. He is a very special boy who is going to make the very best companion in a home. He is still young so he would benefit from having a young kitty friend in the home because he is very active.

August Adoptions Spotlight!!!

This month, 17 of our animals found their forever people!

We are especially excited for our sweet boy Gucci who was with us for over a year and found a loving home with one of our volunteers.

We are also celebrating Izzy, a mama chihuahua, who found a home shortly after her puppies, Iris and Ivy (and Ike who was adopted last month)!

We can’t wait to see what September has in store for us!

Blueberry is the the most fun little panther! She was rescued from the shelter where they thought she had a broken leg but it turned out to just be an abnormal growth plate. She was diagnosed with FIP in October and has since completed her treatment. She is so happy to be with the other cats again! Blueberry is very spirited, energetic and cuddly. She adores playing with the other kittens, she’s curious and always up for adventure! She is going to be the most wonderful addition to someone’s home.

Percy is such a sweet and playful boy. He was brought to us with a severely broken leg and needed an external fixator for a month to help it heal. He recovered after his surgery and was doing well until we noticed he was losing weight. He was diagnosed with FIP and recently finished his treatment. He was a model patient and is a beacon of health. He has so much personality and is so very sweet. He is gets along well with the other cats. We love him so much and feel like he would be happiest in a home with another cat.

Zion is a sweet adult boy who was intercepted by our San Bernardino Intervention Counselor. He was being surrendered by his owner. He is confident, good with other dogs and very friendly. He is ready to find his forever home!

Ambrosia is a beautiful young girl who came to us with her mom and siblings. She had an ulcer and some inflammation in one of her eyes when we first took her in. With some medicated drops the ulcer is gone and her eye is all better, it just gets watery and squinty from time to time. She is a friendly and sweet little girl who loves to wrestle and play with her brother Arlo. She is very affectionate and loves other cats. We feel that she would be happiest in a home with another cat but might be ok solo.

Gecko is a special one! She was friendly and vocal from day 1, begging to be rescued. She is a ton of fun and very playful. She loves batting her toys around and hanging out with her brothers - Lizard, Newt, and Iguana. They are almost 5 months old and ready to go!

Six precious ten-week-old puppies from San Bernardino are looking for their forever homes! Apply at langefoundation.org/dogs

Butterball has come so far in the six weeks that he's been with us. Originally, he was so shy that he cowered in the corner, and we had to carry him out of his kennel to get some outside time on the patio. Now, he is confident enough to go on solo leash walks in the neighborhood and is loving life! He adores people and loves to sit in your lap or lean up against your side. He is ridiculously cute and likes other dogs. He is about five years old, and we have been treating him for an ear infection. Other than that, he is a healthy and happy boy, ready to find his forever family!!

🚨 foster needed for a shy and sweet pregnant tabby 🚨 We just rescued Michita and she is due to give birth to 3 little kittens within the next 2-3 days! Looking for a foster who can give mama a small quiet space to give birth and care for her kittens for the next month or two. Please let us know if you are interested.

Kiki is such a silly and playful girl. Whoever adopts her is in fora lifetime of love and fun!

Tajin is the cutest, three-legged, cross-eyed boy we've ever met. He has such a pure heart and only wants to love and be loved. He adores other cats but is a little socially awkward. He comes on very strong with them, and when they say no, he doesn't always get the idea right away. He is quite the charmer, though, and has won over even some of our more stubborn cats. He loves people and will roll around and grab at your feet until you play with him. Clark is a very happy and playful terrier mix. He is just over two years old and has been with us since the beginning of April. He doesn't always make the best first impression because he is full of energy and overly excited to meet new people. Even though we try to give our dogs at least 3 walks a day and playtime on our patio, they have a lot of time cooped up. Clark does mellow out after a good play session and we know in a home he would thrive. He would do best in an active home that's able to take him out to help him release his energy or if he had a yard that would be great too. He is very friendly and smart. He knows how to sit and is good about waiting for walks to go to the bathroom. Clark is so joyful and has a lot of love to give. Help us find him his perfect forever home!

Thank you to everyone who has donated to our fundraiser so far! Mama Tahiti is tired but doing great, and so are ALL 11 kittens! The three oldest are shy and separated from the rest of the group but eating well and playing. We are just working with them to get more comfortable with being handled. Right now, Mama is nursing 8 kittens. 4 of them are weaning off of her and eating wet food very well, so they will be separated from her in the next few days. She definitely needs a break and needs to focus on the 4 youngest babes. The tiniest baby, Isla, unfortunately, had an eye infection and is blind. She will need surgery when she is older to remove the tissue to avoid future eye infections. We can definitely use more kitten food, kmr, towels, and small blankets if you are looking to donate. We also are about halfway to our fundraiser goal for them. Everyone will need to be eventually spayed/neutered and the kittens will each need a round of 3 vaccines. Salsa is a one year old mellow Calico. She was diagnosed with FIP late last year and completed treatment. She loves ear scratches, Churus, and being spoken to. She is a wonderful little lady who deserves the best. A lot of our cats who beat FIP are overlooked since there is not a lot of long-term research on the FIP treatment. Up until several years ago, FIP was a 100% fatal disease in cats. In 2016/2017, the first cats were successfully treated for FIP and are still doing well today. There is no reason to think that Salsa and her fellow FIP Survivors won't live long and healthy lives. Salsa is the definition of a sweetheart and is patiently waiting to find her forever family. Help us find her a home. If you're considering adopting a cat, don't pass up the strong and resilient ones who conquered a once 100% fatal disease. Kiki is a young, beautiful house panther with a very expressive face. She was at the shelter with her kittens, but they were all adopted out, and she was left there waiting. She likes to play, is very silly, and loves human attention. She isn't fond of other cats, so she should be your one and only. She is patiently waiting here with us until she finds her forever family. 🩵💚
