Bella is a sweet and tiny 8 year old chihuahua. She was very nervous and untrusting when we first took her in. She has made wonderful strides and is getting comfortable with our staff and volunteers. She will need a patient owner who will help her feel comfortable and safe.

Allan and Skipper are some of the cutest puppies we’ve ever seen. They are nine weeks old and were raised in an amazing foster home so they are incredibly friendly and cuddly and they are also good with kids. They’ve had one round of vaccines so far and will be getting another exam and vaccine in two weeks. We are accepting applications for them now, which you can fill out at LangeFoundation.org/dog-adoption-application. We only adopt locally to the Los Angeles area and our adoption fee for puppies is $450.

Fia (black and white) and Finneas (tabby) are 3 years old and very fun and sweet. They were community cats too friendly to be on the street so we took them in. Finneas is very talkative. Fia loves to be pet. They aren’t necessarily bonded but they do get along and enjoying hanging out together so it would be great to find them a home together!

Say hello to Rey Mysterio, a beautiful 1 1/2 year old tabby who's waiting for a new home. Due to allergies, he was surrendered and is now missing the warmth and comfort of a home. He's a gentle and sensitive cat who feels anxious around other cats, but he loves to play with toys and snuggle up for affection. A quiet home with no other cats would be ideal for him.

Percy is such a sweet and playful boy. He was treated for a broken leg and FIP as a kitten but has fully recovered. Percy has a big personality and loves people and other cats. He likes to be the alpha cat and shows he loves you with gentle bites. He has so much personality and is so very sweet. We love him so much and feel like he would be happy in a home with another cat or even as a solo boy.

Chiquita is stealing hearts! This cute 2-year-old was surrendered to us through our San Bernardino Intervention Program, along with her dad Timoteo. She's extremely friendly, great with other dogs, and always happy. Chiquita will be spayed on 2/27 and available for adoption afterwards. She'll also need a dental appointment soon, which we'll cover if her adopter can take her to the vet.

Denver is a very smart and sweet 1 year old dog we took in from a family in South LA who was no longer able to keep him. He is mellow and loves going on walks - he does great on a leash - and he is good with other dogs. He is timid of new people at first, but once he knows you he loves cuddles and pets. He is not thriving in a kennel environment and is scared when he is in his run. Once he is outside, he is very happy and curious. He would do well in a home with an experienced owner.

Junie is a very sweet 10 year old Maltese who was surrendered by her owner. She is blind and partly deaf but gets around really well. She likes to go on her daily walks and keeps a slow and steady pace. She needs an owner who is familiar with blind dog care and can be patient with her in a home. She has a heart murmur but does not need heart medication at this time. She is scheduled for a dental cleaning but is ready to find a home in which to spend her golden years.

Chip is an extremely shy boy we rescued from a hoarding situation in September. He really likes other dogs but takes a while to trust new people. We are giving him plenty of TLC and introducing him to new volunteers to try and get him to be more confident and he is making great progress! We know he would be so much happier in a home environment with a patient and experienced owner who takes the time to help him feel safe and comfortable. He would be happiest in a calm and quiet home with another dog.

This is Canicas! We rescued him last week through our San Bernardino intervention program. He had a mouth full of foxtails and needed 33 teeth extractions as well as a hole in his cheek that needed to be sewn up. Despite all this, he is magical. He is smart, friendly, loves people, and does well with other dogs. He is about 6 years old, seems house trained, and understands Spanish. We are so happy we were able to help him and love having him here.

Meet Pickles, the newest addition to the Lange family! He's a 1-year-old, 10-pound chihuahua mix with a precious curled tail. We rescued him from the South LA shelter, and he's already bringing us so much joy! Pickles is a loving companion who loves to be by your side. He gets along great with other dogs, is playful, and irresistibly cute. After being neutered, he's now ready to find his forever home!

Pretty Perdita! We rescued 8 year old Perdita from a cat hoarding situation and when she first came here she hid in the litter box and didn't want to come out. She is a totally different cat today. Pretty Perdita! We rescued 8 year old Perdita from a cat hoarding situation and when she first came here she hid in the litter box and didn't want to come out. She is a totally different cat today. She loves to greet visitors and is very affectionate and outgoing. She just recovered from an ear infection and is scheduled to have her teeth cleaned next week. She is starting to encroach on her golden years and would love to find herself a loving forever family!

Saltine thrives on pets and affection, and will lavish you with kisses and gentle love bites in return. If you're seeking a relaxed and affectionate adult cat, Saltine is the perfect match.

We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our community and everyone who has sent us donations. If anyone who has been affected by the fire needs pet supplies- please reach out to us via email [email protected] or by phone 310-473-5585. You can either pick up items or we can arrange for someone to transport them to you. We are here 7 days a week between 11am and 5pm on Olympic & Sepulveda. Feel free to stop by if you need any items from our pet supply pantry. Just ring the doorbell - you do not need an appointment for the pet pantry.

Thumbelina is the sweetest! She is about 8 months old and very affectionate. If you’re looking for a lap cat, she’d be perfect!

Lavender is the best! We rescued her off the streets of Compton. She was part of a managed colony and she was so friendly. She loves belly rubs, playing fetch, and being pet. She is good with other cats too! She is a perfect 6-month-old cat.

Lilo is an adorable 4 year old poodle who we intercepted through our San Bernardino Intervention program. She is so friendly! She loves to go on walks and is very smart. She has gotten along well with the other dogs here and she loves people so much! She is being spayed next week and is ready to meet potential adopters now.
