We first met Bosco during a TNR event, but we were unable to release him due to a large wound on the side of his neck. He was grumpy and not very social with us at all. After some time to heal and realizing that we were not here to harm him, Bosco turned into a marshmallow! He loves to talk with us and he rolls over for pets and loves being loved on! He is FIV positive but has been good with the other cats and is a very special boy that deserves to live his life in safety and surrounded by the his forever people!

Willa is a fun and talkative 9 month old girl who we rescued from the shelter after she was thrown from a car window. She remarkably didn’t have any major injuries but did have some trauma to hear eardrum which doesn’t seem to affect her in any way. She is so cuddly and very outgoing! She is very playful and chatty and good with other cats 🐱

Our hearts are with all who have been affected by the devastating Los Angeles fires. We continue working hard to continue to help displaced animals by providing housing, supplies and vet care.

We have helped fund emergency supplies – including a food pantry for and – for several animal rescues responding to those impacted by the in Los Angeles.

Dogs and cats displaced by the fires and those in need of emergency aid are being helped by Lange Foundation , FurryTail Endings, and other rescue organizations – thanks in part to Lady Freethinker’s Animal Aid program. The pictured dog, helped by Lange Foundation, is safe and has been reunited with his family. Meet Oni, a stunning house panther who was recently surrendered to us. His previous owner lost his home in the fires and had been living with Oni in his car. Realizing he could no longer provide the life Oni truly deserves, he made the difficult decision to entrust us with finding Oni a loving forever home. Initially a bit shy, Oni quickly blossomed into a sweet, affectionate companion. He loves rolling around for pets and soaking up all the attention he can get. Oni is now ready for adoption and can’t wait to meet his new family!

Wee John is the embodiment of how we feel after the past week. We hope to start back up with adoptions this upcoming weekend, but adoptions are on hold until then. If you know someone with pets who were affected by the fires, send them our way if they need supplies or cat/dog food.

We are still taking donations, but we don't have space for too much right now. We are most in need of pet beds, soft carriers and canned dog food. We will have more space as we help people out.

If anyone who has been affected by the fire needs pet supplies- please reach out to us via email [email protected] or by phone 310-473-5585. You can either pick up items or we can arrange for someone to transport them to you.

We are here 7 days a week between 11am and 5pm on Olympic & Sepulveda. Feel free to stop by if you need any items from our pet supply pantry. Just ring the doorbell - you do not need an appointment for the pet pantry.

Our community has really stepped up and been so generous in helping us collect pet supplies for those in need. If you or anyone you know has been affected by the fires and needs any pet supplies, please send them by our West LA location. We are here 7 days a week and still taking donations. We want to express a huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who has reached out, volunteered, and donated today. We are overwhelmed with the support our community has shown. Not even just OUR community, we had people reach out from several states and even Canada asking what they can do to help.

Please let anyone who has pets and have been displaced by these fires know that we can help with temporary fosters and pet supplies. We are at the kennel daily between 10am and 5pm if you need supplies or would like to donate anything. We also have a long list of people who are willing to foster displaced pets until their owners can get into a space that allows pets.

There are so many other animal organizations looking for fosters as well. If you can foster cats, please reach out to and to foster dogs or cats please reach out to . Many strays and scared pets are ending up at the shelters and the shelters need space for them!

We are doing what we can to help our community. If you need temporary shelter for your pets or are in need of pet supplies, we are here to help. We are also helping the Westwood Recreation Center, which is working as a temporary shelter for those displaced by the fires, donating supplies for people and their pets.

If you're able to help with donations, they can be dropped off at our Sepulveda location or donated via our Amazon & Chewy wishlists. We are also accepting monetary donations so we can purchase supplies to help out those in need. If you are able to help with temporary fostering, please reach out to us!

Thumbelina is the sweetest! She is about 8 months old and very affectionate. If you’re looking for a lap cat, she’d be perfect!

Lavender is the best! We rescued her off the streets of Compton. She was part of a managed colony and she was so friendly. She loves belly rubs, playing fetch, and being pet. She is good with other cats too! She is a perfect 6-month-old cat.

Lilo is an adorable 4 year old poodle who we intercepted through our San Bernardino Intervention program. She is so friendly! She loves to go on walks and is very smart. She has gotten along well with the other dogs here and she loves people so much! She is being spayed next week and is ready to meet potential adopters now.
