Anjo seeking home. Anjo has been loved and well-cared for by his current guardian for most of his life, who only wanted to give him the best life possible, just being a horse. With no expectations, Anjo has lived in a herd environment, with proper handling and lovely ground manners. All horses should be this lucky. However, financial hardships have now placed his owner in the all-too-common predicament of finding him a home where he can be a horse. He does have some separation anxiety and will crib if stalled, so a large pasture with a shelter would be ideal for him. He is completely sound; however, he developed Cushing's two years ago and will need to be on medication, though ideally, he could transition to a more suitable diet and herbal remedy for his condition. Super smart and very sweet, Enzo would make a superb companion for a lonely horse who needs a loving friend. Serious inquiries only - potential adopters must have a pasture area with a shelter. Biscuit loves pepper tree leaves! He picked up the scent on our ladder in the bucket we use to collect leaves. We went for a walk to get some right from the tree (with some help). Baskey does a sideways walk like a crab so he can get closer to see Hollie. Cloud is always so gentle and just likes to play. It is colder out but after a rainy week they enjoyed being outside. We are demonstrating that humans and fellow animals have an equally soft and gentle side. *Always put your hand in between a horses mouth and yours so you can be safe when you share a breath.
