“Accidental litter” came to us yesterday. ***We had been working on this situation for a few weeks. There are so many other situations and dogs coming in as space opens. Our heads are spinning and our funds are depleted.
Coming into a rescue is where the work begins… Straight to the vet, infested with fleas, needed flea baths, deworming, vaccines, chips and now they are at the s/n clinic getting fixed. None of this is free and we are in desperate need of help. Please donate - any amount helps.
They will be at our special adoption event this Sunday at at West Creek Park in Santa Clarita 9-12.

We posted this morning and we got 1 $5 donation and 1 $20 donation. So far the pugs have racked up $1,200 in vet care (vaccines, f***l tests, flea baths, flea treatment, deworming, microchips, spay(3), neuter(1) and we just got the results back - they have giardia so they will need medication for that.
This is on top of food, p*e pads and other supplies. Rescue is not cheap. 😞

We’re celebrating 1️⃣4️⃣ years!!! Time goes by so fast. When you’re in IT on the daily, it feels like there’s not enough hours in the day and the ocean of new animals in need never slows so you never see the light at the end of the tunnel, but looking back, all we can say is “WOW! Introducing Dahlia. 5yo, 65lbs, border collie/shep mix???, house trained, great with other dogs and people of all ages. This girl is new to us but she has actually been waiting for a forever home for over 2 years. She was rescued with her boyfriend and litter of puppies. They have all been adopted and she’s still waiting. Let’s help change that. She was nervous at her first adoption event but we’ll keep bringing her and giving her the time and space to get comfortable. Want to help? Share her post. We are NOT TAKING ANY MORE ANIMALS at this time. We are still full and will not be able to help any new animals until we get more adopted. We have a few medical dogs that are with us and still healing. They will be posted soon. ❤️‍🩹

All have adoptions pending.
Finally!!! Yes, it’s $5 Friday (throw the animals a 5 if you can!♥️) and today is also the announcement for the Fluffy 5! They were on an evidence hold for 2 months (thank you to their foster .grig ) and they are officially released to us so we can find them forever homes
Hooligan (larger brown) is approx 15 weeks
The others are about 12 weeks
Maybe maltipoo/shihzu mix? We have no idea.
They were being sold on the street in DTLA when they had not even been able to eat on their own. They were taken from their mom too soon. The woman was arrested and the puppies were seized. She immediately showed up to the shelter the next day trying to get them back. Sorry scumbag, you’ll have to get a real job!
Anyway, long fight but they are officially free from the bad human.
We estimate they will be less than 12lbs when fully grown but we are only guessing.
They will be at in Eagle Rock tomorrow 10-12 and then at our usual Sunday adoptions at Larchmont 10:30-12:30. Interview, application, home visit, adoption fee required. They will be fixed before they can leave but we are accepting applications.
