One year ago today the greatest companion I’ll ever know and the best thing to ever happen to me passed away just shy of her 18th birthday. I still cannot comprehend that I’ll never feel her silky chocolate coat again or her kisses or the incredible way she was able to communicate whatever she felt or needed and so much more. MUFFIN will always be an integral part of me and I’ll always be blessed and forever thankful for the many indelible life chapters we spent together. 💕❤️🐶😪😢💕🙏❤️

Today is Stella’s GOTCHA day‼️😀💕🐶🙏 Four years ago today we adopted a nervous skittish and sometimes sweet little girl and she’s still dealing with issues but is now a loving part of the fam. Her big sister Penelope sets a great example. She’s great at cleaning food bowls so well that I don’t even have to wash them‼️🤪 And she also does a mean MOONWALK as seen here‼️🎉🎊😍

MUFFIN was born on this day FEBRUARY 24 2003 - it would have been her 18th birthday. She passed away Dec 10, 2020. She was everything to me and the best companion I’ll ever know. Muffin - you’re always in my heart and I think about every minute of every day. I hope you’re resting in peace and understand just how much you are still loved. Thinking of you ALWAYS. 💕🐶❤️💕😪💕😪😪😪

My beloved beloved Muffin peacefully took her last breath on my lap beneath a ray of surreal sunlight on Thursday afternoon Dec. 10 2020. Muffin - you were and will always be the love of my life. Your devotion loyalty and unyielding love and emotional intelligence made every single moment we spent together extraordinary and unforgettable. Nothing I can say here can truly convey the bond we had. We were a team like none other and everything always revolved around my little Muffin girl. It hurts too much right now to recount all of the special chapters & moments spent together. Just know that I’ll love you deeply forever. You were my rock - comforting me and calming me when nothing else could. Just your delicious scent alone warmed my heart and soul. Things are so different without you - nothing is the same. You initiated every routine I had and made sure treats and walks and meals and everything else happened at the right time of day. You were a complex and sensitive soul and you yearned to stay independent even when your senior blindness forced you to reluctantly accept some help from me. Thank you for being the best little girl in the world. I will never ever forget this most special journey we had together. You’ll always be my everything. Rest In Peace my baby girl. - [ ] Your incredible devotion love loyalty and smarts were cherished and adored every single day of your beautiful life. We were a team like no other - each other’s biggest supporter. You taught me so much about how to be a more nurturing warm and giving person. We were both always happiest just being together and I’m so fortunate for all that time spent at each other’s side.

From our awesome days and nights on the beach in Marina Del Rey where you would dig enormous holes in the sand between 30 yard tennis ball throws and then lie proudly in the hole - to the day just a month ago when she could no longer handle her favorite daily walk and turned around after less than half a block - we were a team like no other.
