Helping Our Fearful or Anxious Dog 🐶 ✅ 😁
Once we understand why our dogs are afraid or anxious, we can help them. Their fears can seem illogical because they don’t understand many things in their environment. During training, we focus on building trust so that they look to us for direction. This helps change their perspective on things they find fearful. So when they encounter trash trucks, cars, skateboards, or other “scary” things, they feel safe because they trust us to protect them. This trust helps eliminate their fear-induced reactions.
