Charlie and Bobo were so brave at their checkup with ! 🐾 We’re incredibly grateful to him and all the amazing staff at Value Vet for taking such good care of our sweet rescues. Charlie has mild conjunctivitis and will be treated by our staff twice a day. But, they’re all set to head home! 🏡💖 If you’re interested in adopting them, please visit our website or email [email protected] 🐶 Bobo is a 4-year-old poodle mix who would do best in a home with no small children, while Charlie, a 2-year-old terrier mix, is very smart and loves to play. As some of you may know, Ellie, a 9-month-old Chihuahua, came into our care after her previous family abandoned her for three weeks without food or water. Maintenance workers found her and brought her to us. We immediately took her to , where she tested positive for parvovirus. Despite our best efforts, her health continued to decline. Her anemia didn’t improve after multiple blood transfusions, and her vomiting and diarrhea worsened. Overnight, she developed internal bleeding, and her protein levels and liver function dropped significantly.
After five nights of hospitalization and 24-hour care, it sadly became clear that we were fighting a losing battle. With heavy hearts, we made the difficult decision to let Ellie rest, as she was no longer responding to treatment and was in extreme discomfort.
We’re heartbroken to share the news about Ellie. Being left alone for so long gave her a very low chance of fighting a virus that is already deadly for healthy, well-nourished dogs. We can’t thank the incredible staff at enough for their tireless efforts to save her.
Rescue work is challenging and comes with the harsh reality that we can’t save them all, but we will remain committed to giving every dog the best chance, even when hope seems lost.

WE NEED YOUR HELP‼️ Meet Ellie, our 9-month-old, 2-pound Chihuahua. Abandoned by her previous family, she was found by maintenance workers three weeks later, without food or water. As soon as she came into our care, we rushed her to where we received the unfortunate news that she tested positive for parvo, a highly contagious virus that affects dogs’ gastrointestinal tracts.
Thankfully, the amazing vets at immediately started treatment. Ellie has spent several nights in isolation receiving antibiotics, fluids, NG tube feeding, and plasma transfusions, which provide essential antibodies to help her fight the virus. Our little Ellie was severely dehydrated and malnourished, but after a tough few days, she is showing some signs of improvement. While she still isn’t eating on her own, she is less nauseous, and her blood work indicates she is a bit more stable.
We are incredibly grateful to the team at for their dedicated care and for trying everything possible to give her a second chance. Please keep Ellie in your prayers. As long as we see daily improvements, we remain hopeful she can overcome this virus.
Ellie’s care at has cost over 10 thousand dollars so far, with more to come. Thankfully with Mash’s medical assistance we’ve covered some of the cost but there’s a lot more to be paid. We’d like to start raising money for her and whatever medical care she is going to continue to need. Our Emergency Medical Fund allows us to rescue dogs, like Ellie, who need extensive lifesaving medical care and treatment. WE NEED YOUR HELP‼️ Our rescue and sanctuary in China, which helps rescued dogs from the Yulin Dog Meat Festival & meat trade, has recently encountered significant challenges due to adverse weather conditions. Heavy rains in the region have triggered severe mudslides and caused trees to fall, resulting in extensive damage to the cherished playpen where the dogs spend a considerable amount of their time.
WE URGENTLY NEED TO RAISE $4,000 FOR SHELTER REPAIRS & GROOMING SUPPLIES. The play pen, a vital area for the dogs’ exercise and socialization, has been severely affected. The mudslides have compromised the structural integrity of the pen, and several sections have been rendered unsafe for use. The fallen trees pose a risk to both the dogs and the staff. Immediate clearing and assessment are required to ensure the area is safe for the dogs to return.

Meet Peter! Does it get any cuter than him?! We don’t think so! Peter was rescued from a high kill shelter and is as sweet as can be. He’s a little bit shy meeting new people as he is still getting use to being at our rescue center but with some TLC, he’ll be just fine! We believe he is a terrier mix and he’s only about a year old, if that! He’s great with other dogs. TINKERBELL UPDATE‼️ We took Tinkerbell to a few weeks ago to see their internal medicine department. As we were heartbroken to hear of her diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension and collapsing trachea, we are ecstatic to report that she is already feeling so much better thanks to the care she has received from 🙏 we are so thankful for them! Tinkerbell has been doing great in her foster home receiving lots of love and TLC from her amazing foster mom. It’s amazing the difference even a few weeks can make for these pups!

PUPPY PILE ALERT ‼️ Can you believe some of these cuties are still waiting for their forever homes? Mama Snow gave birth to 7 puppies at a high kill shelter and raised them for 7 weeks at the shelter until we found her. They are now spayed and neutered and ready to find their forever! They are husky/shepherd mixes so please prepare they will most likely be medium - large sized pups when they’re fully grown! Diana Update 💗 Diana has VASTLY improved!!!! So many of you have helped donate to her medical bills and we couldn’t be more grateful! She is now walking on her own and her personality has come out! She’s finally feeling better to play and is now REUNITED with her puppies!!!! They have already grown so much and are much bigger than we were expecting! We just rescued these nervous babies from a shelter! They are very timid but they are in great hands now! 💗 We are giving them lots of love, food and baths! 💗 Diana Update 💗 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Many of you have been asking and we want to update you! Diana is having hip surgery this Thursday at Metropolitan Animal Specialty Hospital She’s definitely gotten closer to our staff and has gotten her amputation stitches taken out now! She’s slowly regaining her strength, and it shows by her being able to take additional steps on her “walk” with full support from our staff and her sling. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After having her left leg amputated and suffering from her right hip being dislocated, she is not able to walk on her own. Your continued positive thoughts and prayers for this sweet girl is VERY appreciated. She has gotten a lot of love and care, so we are feeling optimistic and are hoping for the best! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Oh, and her babies are GROWING!! 💗 They are doing much better than we had expected and are in fact slowly starting to eat soft foods! They are still tiny, but are growing strong and are very happy little puppies! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Thank you to everyone who has donated and helped Diana and her babies.
