Meet Wren 💖 This adorable 8-month-old Labrador Retriever mix has a heart full of joy and a constantly wagging tail 🫶 Wren was rescued from a high-kill shelter by , and is now looking for her forever home in sunny LA! This playful pup came to our rescue center with her best buddy Kevin, both hoping to find loving families. Wren loves to run, jump, and play—if it’s active and fun, she’s all in! We are overjoyed to share that Wilfred, our 15-year-old senior pup we rescued from a high kill shelter, has finally found his forever home in Cincinnati, Ohio! He’s joining Pixie, one of our Vanderpup alumni, who was adopted back in January. We are wishing Wilfred and his new family all the love and happiness! Congratulations 💖

One of the most frequent questions we get asked is if we adopt out of state? We do allow for out of state adoptions on a case-by-case basis. If you would like to adopt from out of state, you will be responsible for coordinating safe travel for the dog, as we do not ship dogs. Please note that not every dog is a candidate for out-of-state adoption (for example, it is not always safe for seniors or dogs with health conditions to fly or travel long distances). If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs from out of state, please note that on your application, which can be found on our website, along with your plan to transport, and we will let you know if the dog you are interested in is eligible.
