2/12 Dogs of Christmas 🎄 Meet Nemo! This 7-year-old terrier mix came to us after being surrendered to a high-kill shelter, and his playful personality has truly blossomed since arriving at Vanderpump Dogs! Small but mighty at 16 pounds, this little guy has a big love for toys—chasing balls is his absolute favorite pastime.

He’s currently working on slimming down and staying active, and he’d thrive with a family who can help him maintain a healthy lifestyle. Sometimes he gets a bit protective of his toys, but with patience and understanding, he’s learning that he doesn’t need to guard them anymore. His silly antics and big personality are guaranteed to bring endless smiles to your home.

Benji needs our help 💔 Seven years ago we rescued Benji from a high kill shelter. He was then adopted into a home where he was deeply loved by his dad. Tragically, his dad passed away, and Benji found himself back at Vanderpump Dogs, waiting for his next forever family.

Understandably, Benji has been a little scared and confused, but he’s a gentle soul who is ready to bond with someone who can offer him love and patience. Due to his early days spent in a tiny crate, Benji has a unique quirk—he spins in circles. He enjoys meeting people and does well with dogs who respect his boundaries, preferring calm and gentle interactions. An adults-only home would likely be the best fit for this special boy.

To prepare Benji for his next chapter, he needs a dental procedure to ensure he stays healthy and comfortable. After everything he’s been through, he deserves this fresh start. Every single dollar helps... let’s come together to help Benji get the care he needs! Thank you for your support.

🎀 Meet Sugar, the sweetest cuddle bug you’ll ever meet! This affectionate girl stole our hearts at the shelter and quickly became a staff favorite. Despite her loving nature, she faced a heartbreaking 72-hour notice, but now she’s ready to find her forever home! Sugar absolutely adores people and loves snuggling up or following her humans around to see what’s happening.

Sugar loves a good play session in the yard, but she needs to be the ONLY pet in the home. She is NOT a dog-park companion or suitable for interactions with other dogs, as she’s extremely dog-aggressive. Sugar’s ideal home is one where she can have all the attention and love from her humans—because that’s what she truly thrives on.

Meet Bugsy, a sweet 2-year-old pug we rescued from Lancaster shelter just before Thanksgiving. He was found with a broken hip and urgently needed medical attention. Thanks to Dr. Williams and the team at .pet , Bugsy underwent life-changing Femoral Head Osteotomy surgery the same day we brought him in. This procedure will relieve his pain and help restore his mobility. He’s now resting and recovering with limited activity for the next two weeks.

As we wrap up our Giving Tuesday fundraiser, we’re asking for your help to continue providing urgent medical care to dogs like Bugsy. Your donations make these second chances possible, giving rescue dogs the love and care they deserve. We’re committed to helping Peanut find his forever home and we won’t give up until he does—could it be with you? 💖 Peanut was born at Vanderpump Dogs 5 years ago. He was adopted as a puppy and unfortunately was not properly socialized, which led to behavioral issues. As stated in our adoption contract, if someone is unable to keep their dog they must be returned to us. We care deeply about all of our rescues and will not give up on them until they find a forever home that’s committed to giving them the life they deserve. This 5-year-old Lab/hound mix is a lovable goofball, known by our friends at for his love of sunbathing and his trusty tennis ball. The team shared, “With new staff joining recently, Peanut has done so well adjusting. It’s been amazing to see him open up and find comfort here at The Ranch.” Now, Peanut is ready to move forward with someone who understands his challenging past and is eager to give him the bright future he deserves. We are beyond thrilled to share that Diamond—now Chloe—has been adopted and is living her best life with her forever family! 💗🐾

Diamond was rescued from a high-kill shelter, where she had been found with a severely broken pelvis. Her injuries required urgent medical intervention to give her a second chance at life. Thanks to the incredible care from the veterinary team and weeks of dedicated recovery, she has made a full transformation.

Her healing process involved long weeks of rest and limited activity. Through biweekly checkups with the amazing doctors at , Diamond showed incredible resilience and strength, gradually regaining her mobility and spirit. Eventually, she made a full recovery and was ready to find her forever home.

A huge thank you to the team and her foster family for their dedication and love—this journey wouldn’t have been possible without you. 💕

If you haven’t heard of Rita, she’s a dedicated volunteer who works tirelessly to save dogs from high-kill shelters in and around the Los Angeles area. Through her powerful photography and heartfelt social media posts, she showcases dogs who are at high kill shelters, giving them a chance to be rescued and find their forever homes before it’s too late. Thanks to Rita’s incredible efforts, thousands of dogs have been saved from euthanasia, and she continues to inspire others to make a difference.
