Happy New Year from Sweet Violet and all of us at Vanderpump Dogs! We couldn’t have had an incredible 2024 without your love and unwavering support for our mission and our pups. Great news—Travis is already feeling so much better, thanks to the amazing care he’s receiving from our friends at ! He’s currently receiving treatment while we’re awaiting test results that will help create a long-term treatment plan to keep him healthy and itch-free for his forever home.

🎄 12/12 Dogs of Christmas 🎄Meet Peanut! We saved the best for last… our pup who really needs a Christmas miracle to help him find his forever home. Peanut is a 5-year-old Lab/hound mix who is looking for a strong and confident leader to help him thrive. Born at Vanderpump Dogs, Peanut was adopted as a puppy but, unfortunately, wasn’t properly socialized, leading to some behavioral challenges. As part of our adoption contract, dogs unable to remain with their families must return to us, and we’re committed to finding Peanut the forever home he deserves.

Peanut’s ideal home would be with  a strong leader who understands his past and is ready to offer him the patience, structure, and love he needs to thrive. He will do best with a single person with a strong routine who is willing to continue his training and provide a calm, steady environment. Peanut would make a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates his goofy, loyal nature and is committed to building a strong bond with him.

The team at has helped him adjust beautifully, and he’s shown that he’s ready to move forward with the right person by his side. Could Peanut be your perfect match?

🎄 11/12 Dogs of Christmas 🎄Meet Shirley! Shirley is a 6-year-old, 50-pound Boxer mix with a heart of gold and a personality that lights up every room! Currently thriving in her foster home, Shirley has earned the title of social butterfly thanks to her love for both people and dogs. She’s a sweetheart who enjoys soaking up the sun in the yard, playing with her toys, and spreading joy wherever she goes.

Her foster family can’t stop raving about her—Shirley is potty trained, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and is a quick learner when it comes to new commands. She recently had a procedure to help heal a wound on her tail at , and we’re so grateful to her foster family for providing such loving care during her recovery.

Originally from Georgia from our friends at , Shirley traveled all the way to California in search of her perfect family. Could you be the one to welcome this lovable, sunbathing companion into your life? Shirley would make a wonderful addition to any family, especially one with other dogs.

We’re thrilled to share the amazing story of Kevin, who found his perfect forever home all the way in the UK! Kevin’s adopters met him in Los Angeles and fell in love instantly. They were so smitten that they made VIP arrangements to transport him across the globe to join their family. Here’s what they had to say about Kevin settling into his new life:

“Kevin is a live wire and doesn’t stay still long enough for a photo! You’d think he’s always been here—he’s confident, sassy, and so loving. He spreads his love around by having a different favorite person each day. He gets on so well with our other dogs, especially Rocket—they spend most of their time playing, chasing, and sleeping together. He even started with his trainer this weekend, who couldn’t believe how quick he picked up the commands!”

We couldn’t be happier for Kevin and his incredible new family. Congratulations to Kevin, Rocket, and their entire pack—we’re wishing you all the love and happiness in the world! 💖

10/12 Dogs of Christmas 🎄 Meet Travis! Travis is a 2-year-old, 17-pound Terrier mix with a heart full of love and a spirit that won’t quit. This little survivor came to us from a high-kill shelter after being injured in a tragic incident involving people shooting BB guns at dogs. Thankfully, Travis was rescued and received the critical care he needed to heal.

Despite his rough past, Travis remains a happy, affectionate love bug who’s getting better every day. His shoulder injury is healing quickly, and he’s ready to meet his forever family who will give him the love and safety he deserves.

If you’d like to contribute to Travis’s Christmas Stocking, he wants: soft blankets, squeaky toys, and yummy treats to help him feel cozy and loved.

9/12 Dogs of Christmas 🎄 Meet Bobo! Excuse his haircut 🫣… he hates getting groomed but we are working on it! Bobo is a 6-year-old, 20-pound Maltese/Poodle mix with a lot of love to give—once you’ve earned his trust. This super-cute guy enjoys belly rubs and playing with people he knows, but he’s looking for a special adopter who can accept him just as he is.

Bobo has been through some tough times, which have left him fearful of being crated or cornered, and he struggles with grooming. Because of this, he’d thrive in an adults-only home with patient and understanding people. He doesn’t mind other dogs as long as they respect his space. Winning over the heart of a rescue dog like Bobo is a reward like no other, and he’s been waiting at the rescue for a while—give him a chance!

Daisy (2 years old, 37 pounds) and Peach (2 years old, 38 pounds) are a pair of gorgeous Shepherd mix sisters with friendly personalities and hearts full of love. Surrendered by their previous owner, these two are a bit nervous but quickly warm up with sweet cuddles and playful energy. Best friends and inseparable twins, they’re ready to bring double the love to their new forever home.
