When you get a text from Roberto (who lives in the apartment behind the clinic) at 5:00am, it’s never good news…
Fortunately (?) it was “just” vandalism and not burglary….
Door is getting boarded up and we’re reviewing the security video (not that it will do any good….).
Holiday hours!
We will be closed on Thursday, July 4th.
The office will be open on Friday, July 5th and Saturday, July 6th, but Dr. Fernandez will not be in either day.
She will be back on Monday, July 8th.

If you think that your dog will need a sedative for July 4th, DO NOT wait until the last minute!
Depending on your dog's age, Dr. Fernandez might require a blood test to make sure that your dog's liver and kidneys can process the sedative.
The last day that we can send samples to the lab and guarantee that the results will arrive before July 4th is July 2nd.
Don't wait until the last minute.
Your dog will thank you.
Memorial Day/Weekend Hours!
Wayfarer will be closed on Saturday, May 25th and Monday, May 27th.
In addition, Dr. Fernandez will not be in the office on Tuesday, May 28th, but Wayfarer will be open.
We have no phones, no internet, no credit card terminal. AT&T are allegedly on their way.

Wayfarer will be closed for President's Day, Monday, February 19th.
In addition, that weekend is also the Western States Veterinary Conference in Las Vegas. Dr. Fernandez will be attending lectures in order to complete her continuing education hours. She will not be in the office on Tuesday, February 20th and will be back in the office on Wednesday, February 21st!
Wayfarer be open as usual on Tuesday.

Because of the scary horrible weather, Dr. Fernandez has decided that it is not safe for us to drive the 25 miles that she and I drive to get to work on Monday.
Please check back with this page tomorrow, once we get an update on the weather conditions.

Wayfarer will be open for boarding, grooming and refills.
We will be open our regular days/hours, unless we have staffing issues (this might include Saturdays, but I will keep you posted), and we will likely be closing daily at 5:00.
We can try to provide you with a referral, but finding a hospital with walk-in hours might be a problem. We’ll do our best to make sure you are taken care of while Doc is away.
There are plenty of dignitaries riding in the Rose Parade, but none more important than our client, Bodhi!

Dr. Fernandez WILL be in the office her regular hours, including Saturday, 12/23 and Saturday 1/30.
We will be closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Remember, her last day before her vacation will be Saturday, 1/6.
She will be back on February 1st.
We will be open our regular hours while she is away, unless we have staffing issues, but if that happens, I'll give you advance notice!

We haven't completely decided yet, but as of now, we probably will be closed on Saturday, 12/23 and definitely Monday, 12/25 for Christmas, as well as a 'maybe' on Saturday, 12/30 and a definitely yes on 1/1.

Her last day at work will be January 6th and she won't be back until February 1st. PLEASE be sure to have your medications refilled before she leaves and any vaccinations your pets might need (I'll send out the January vaccination reminders in early December, so you can get them early).

Here are our holiday hours for November. These might change, depending on staffing levels, so, as always, call before loading your pets into the car!
Veteran's Day: We will be closed on Friday, November 10th and Saturday, November 11th. Dr. Fernandez will be leaving at NOON on Thursday, 11/9. 🇺🇸
Thanksgiving: We will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd until Monday, November 27th. 🦃 🥧

Closed Monday July 3rd and Tuesday July 4th.

Just a reminder...
Wayfarer will be open our regular hours the week of 5/22 and Doc will be in the office.
We will be closed on Monday, May 29th for Memorial Day.
After that, Dr. Fernandez not be back in the office until June 8th. She and Dr. Tom will be going up to Northern California for her son's funeral services.
Wayfarer will be open (mostly) regular hours, but will be closing at 4:30 on Friday 6/2 and will be closed on Saturday 6/3.
