Life is so much sweeter w/ a partner in crime. Please say hello to my new best friend who I adopted from on Thursday, living the hammock-style good life w/ my nephew August and me. Still not quite decided on his name, but I am definitely decided on how much I already love him!😘 Thank you so much and for bringing us together! I literally began sobbing w/ joy as I walked out of the shelter to my car. This little guy will only ever know love and happiness (and pack walks!) for the rest of his life.

Please officially welcome Missy to the Woof! LA pack! We are so excited to have her – she is just the sweetest dog ever and the pack absolutely adores her. She started off last month with a couple training sessions for her and her owner to work on walking calmly in the follow position on a leash, and she quickly made amazing tremendous progress. This little gal just loves life, and her infectious, positive energy is a perfect addition to our pack! Welcome Missy!

What do you do when minutes before you’re about to start a pack walk you’re suddenly hit like a Mac truck from out of nowhere w/ flu symptoms and feel like you’re on the brink of passing out? Well if you’re lucky, your sister is dog psychologist expert and trainer extraordinaire , and she happens to call you right at that moment from just down the road, and not only brings you medicine and ginger kombucha, but also takes the pack on a very special pack walk complete w/ baby Owen in a stroller!!

Highlights from my 1st month back after 2 months of knee injury recuperation .

“Psst...Wanna see a lot of dogs?” #Coco #Primo #Brick #Simon #Ace #Lefty #Yuki #Juno #Jack #Stella #Spanky #Kale #PaulRudd #Bear We had a nice big pack today, but even with 14 dogs it was easy breezy because they were all in the right calm submissive state, which allows them to be fully present to to me and to the walk. From the moment I walk in the door to pick a dog up, I am creating and nurturing this calm submissive “follow” state in them – while projecting calm assertive energy from myself. If your dog is pulling or exhibiting any other overexcited behaviors during a walk, try practicing + rewarding calm with them by waiting until they are in a calm submissive state before even putting on the leash. The first time could take several minutes if they normally get overexcited when they see the leash, but wait it out as long as it takes.
