Cairns are a pain in the arse, and I love them for it. ♥️♥️♥️🚶🐩🐕‍🦺🦮🐕🐈‍⬛🐾

In the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz, Toto was played by a female brindle Cairn Terrier named Terry. She was paid a $125 salary each week, which was more than some of the human actors , reportedly received $50 to $100 a week).

During production, Terry's foot was broken when one of the Winkie guards accidentally stepped on it. A second dog had to be used while she healed. Due to the popularity of the movie, and because that role was the one she was most remembered for, her owner and trainer changed her official name to Toto. She actually appeared in 13 films.[2] She died at age 11. Willard Carroll wrote her "autobiography," I, Toto (2001).

When Terry died in 1945, Carl Spitz buried her on his ranch in Studio City, California. However, the construction of the Ventura Freeway in 1958 destroyed her grave. On June 18, 2011, a permanent memorial for her was dedicated at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles.[3]

Heavy stuff. So many dogs being euthanized and the back yard breeders, especially skid row, are cranking litters out for money. I love dogs and I love the hustle and make money, but it’s not cool to breed dogs. Two dogs reproduce and make 45,000 dogs.

Some of the large scale dog day care dogs are experiencing a variety of Kennel cough type symptoms. We’ve had 2 customers express concerns but invited them inside for an energy check and they concluded that the dogs present and the areas they live in are impeccably cleaned daily. Stay safe out there. Our protection is written directly into our policy, “Open to the public, by appointment only.” Nobody is dropping off a strange, sick dog at A Big Dog House!

Oldest dog 31 years + 😳

Is there ever enough time 💔? I think not.

Last night, this sweet boy earned his wings 🕊️.

Despite outliving every dog in history, his 11,478 days on earth would never be enough, for those who loved him. When we asked Leonel what his recipe was for Bobi’s exceptionally long life, his response was swift: “Good nutrition, constant contact with nature, freedom to discover his environment, consistent veterinary care, and love. Bobi knows he’s deeply loved.”

Godspeed, Bobi…you’ve taught the world all you were mean’t to teach 🐾❤️‍🔥🌈.
