Oh wow what a flashback! This is from many many years ago when I trained a bunch of dogs for to overtake her home! Many of these dogs have since crossed š
The show was hilarious and I am always so grateful that Kathy is such an advocate for dog rescue!
JackJack is up front (as usual.) He lived to the very old age of 17!!
The beautiful white an black pointer in the back is my boy Buckley. He was found running down the street in Santa Monica and straight into my heart. He is my soul dog. I am so grateful for what
he taught me so much about dog psychology and trust. Itās been 10 years since he passed but I think of him everyday. He passed away from cancer shortly after this episode was filmed. ā¤ļøMy friend and neighborās dog Austin is seen just behind Kathyās arm. Her dad adopted her from the West LA shelter when she was about 8 months old. She was an instant honorary member of our pack! If you look closely you can see the head of LaCroix, an amazing puggle I started training when he was 8 weeks old! He was a regular in my pack and loved his naps. Jackson is the black lab to the left. He was the second dog from his family I worked with and since then I have worked with 3 more of their dogs! Letās just say I have known and worked with this family for quite some time (since my early 20s!!!)
Mr.Big is the chihuahua on the very expensive glass table. He was surrendered to me by his family and then I casually asked my sister Shannon who was dogless to watch him for the night. I knew she would fall in love and he became her best best friend!
My brother (Ryan) is in the back showing off just one one of his many talents as comedic actor!
Itās funny to find an old picture that seems like a lifetime ago, but also feels like yesterday. It reminds me how much time and energy I have put into my dog training practice and that things do not happen overnight. Experience, lots and lots of experience is what has enabled me to grow my business from my house to our beautiful space in Culver City. I owe it to the rescue dogs that really allowed me follow through and take a dog from despair to family friend! ā¤ļøš¶
