This week....
If your horse is hitting the road this summer here's a tip from CB to help get them to drink:
"One time we had a mare who was not drinking. I was driving one of the tractor trailers and I stopped at a truck stop that had apples. I got the squishiest apple, squished it in my and hand, and fed it to the horse. When a horse eats an apple, they will usually drink next. If you ever watch a horse after feeding them an apple, they get syrupy around their lips and they will go drink to wash off their mouth. So what did this mare do? She started drinking. All it took was an apple."🍏🍎

The horses of Roaring Fork Farms had a great time at The Devon Horse Show! There were a lot of incredible moments for each horse but without a doubt the second place in the USHJA International Hunter Derby finish for Estimated Prophet and Nick Haness was the highlight. Thank you Nick and Katherine Reuter for the great rides on Radio City, Deja Blue and Estimated Prophet.
