Thank you to all who have reached out to check on us. Our house is pink (due to the slurry fire retardant) and fortunately still standing along with the barn. Currently, residents are allowed back. However, between the air quality and the risk from the Santa Ana winds we are staying put.
Thanks toMike Edrick Stabless and the Desert International Horse Park all of our horses have a home and are very happy.
We will wait and see and continue to hope for the best for all who have been in the path of these fires.

Three cheers for our heroes!! This crew is working on a Monday and every other day at to take care of the horses who were evacuated from the Palisades Fire.
Grateful for these guys along with the thousands of fire fighters and first responders!

Looking back on Traci's exodus from the Palisades last week. For Team Balmoral as of this moment all is well. The house and barn are standing, the horses at Mike Edrick Stables and the Desert International Horse Park are healthy and we have everything important with us.
Endless gratitude for all those who put themselves in harm's way to keep us safe, protect our homes and our city the best they can. Thanks to Steve for opening the DIHP barns to our evacuees and also to Mike and his team for taking on the rest of our crew. We are lucky to be surrounded by such amazing and selfless people.
And thank you to those who have been thinking, praying and hoping for us and all who are in the path of the fires.
