• Carraway - 7yo, 16.1h. Great mover and jumper, very brave. A derby prospect who will succeed in anything from the child/adults to the junior/AOs. He scored two 85.5s and an 84 in the Green Hunter Incentive.
• Bluebird - Junior or Amateur Hunter extraordinaire. She loves derbies too! Beauty, brains and the absolute sweetest. Easy, scopey and brave. Currently, competing in 3’6” Green and 3’6”Juniors.

A huge shoutout to the Pony Finals crew (missing a lot of faces in these pictures) for not just surviving it but for thriving. Your care of the ponies/horses is the best there is in the business. Without this team back in the barn, at the ring and at the lay-up farm none of this would be possible.

Modeling words of wisdom from Traci and Carleton:
"At Pony Finals for example, kids can get nervous and start positioning and repositioning and moving. It's important to think of the timing of when to stand your animal up. You don't want to stand them up if the judge is ten ponies away."

If your horse is hitting the road this summer here's a tip from CB to help get them to drink:
"One time we had a mare who was not drinking. I was driving one of the tractor trailers and I stopped at a truck stop that had apples. I got the squishiest apple, squished it in my and hand, and fed it to the horse. When a horse eats an apple, they will usually drink next. If you ever watch a horse after feeding them an apple, they get syrupy around their lips and they will go drink to wash off their mouth. So what did this mare do? She started drinking. All it took was an apple."🍏🍎
