Monet
Monet recently consulted with another neurologist, who also did not recommend an MRI, deeming it a waste of time. Following diagnostic testing, Monet was graded a 5, and her back legs were deemed paralyzed, resulting in incontinence. The MRI would not provide any new information, but we are committed to helping her live her best life. Tomorrow, Monet has an appointment with Two Hands Four Paws Rehab for a consultation to be fitted for a wheelchair and explore other options for her care. Thank you to Baloojas Foundation for facilitating her appointment and to everyone who has donated and supported Monet's journey thus far. The attached video is from her recent neurologist appointment. Monet is an outgoing and friendly dog who is eager to meet new people and dogs. We are seeking a forever home for Monet with an experienced owner who can provide the necessary care and attention for a paralyzed dog. Please contact Robin and Damon of DR Doghouse Bully Crew Rescue or the Baloojas Foundation for more information. Monet is currently located in Studio City. ❤️ We appreciate you Jules' for taking Monet to her appointments & Thank you for the short but sweet video 😘
Honey, one of Giselle Legacy’s abandoned and failed medical-needs special needs dogs, was picked up in South Dakota and brought to our vet for comprehensive medical care. She was discharged from Blue Cross yesterday and is now with a trainer/foster. We have scheduled an MRI for the 13th to determine the cause of her condition. The vet suspects she has a spinal cord injury, which has left her incontinent, along with other medical issues currently being addressed.
Although we are not taking Honey on permanently, we have teamed up with others who are aware of her situation, and together, we are committed to helping her on her journey to a better life. Without the dedication of these individuals, Honey may not have had this chance for a brighter future.
