A much-needed happy update on sweet puppy Dory! ❤️🐾
(And yes... I accidentally got her name wrong again in my last post. My apologies! 🤦♀️💗)
This morning, puppy Dory was seen by an orthopedic specialist, and we are beyond grateful to share that she is going to have surgery to repair her broken leg (femur )today !
There truly aren't enough words to thank Jill Dyce with Out of the Cage Rescue. Jill stepped in when no one else could. The family reached out to countless rescues and resources, and I also spent hours trying to find help for Dory. We were running out of options until Jill selflessly offered to get Dory into her her Orthopedic Specialist and cover the cost of her surgery. ❤️
Jill, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being Dory’s hero. ❤️ Because of your compassion and generosity, this sweet puppy has been given the chance she deserves. You literally saved her life.
While Jill has generously committed to covering Dory's surgery, it also means those funds won't be available to help other dogs in need right now.
