We are solely based in Los Angeles and are not affiliated with any other organizations. MaeDay is named after Natalie's dog, Maggie Mae, whose life was taken after a roll over accident on the freeway in 2010. Since the accident, Natalie has volunteered at local California animal shelters and with Mexican animal shelters, fostering and finding homes for hundreds of dogs and cats. She has volunteere

d at Spay/Neuter clinics and is currently planning a Mae-Day spay/neuter clinic for the fall of 2014. Crew is wishing everyone a Happy Saturday!!! This perfect 3ish year old Frenchie is still available and waiting for his forever home (shocking, we know!🤯). He’s a very good boy who is potty trained, good with other dogs, knows basic commands, and loves to play! Thanks to and her family Felipe is now home! This senior chihuahua found the perfect home thanks to his foster mom and now he will only know love. He is already spoiled and we love seeing dogs from the shelter get treated like royalty with many beds, toys and all they could ever want. We know he is going to have the best life.

A series of Lacy and her toy. She chews so gently and never destroys her toys, then eventually will fall asleep with it 🥹 While this girl is still looking for a home we have been paying for boarding & training until we find her perfect adopter. Since it’s $5 we were hoping you could donate towards her care, food and all that goes into fostering. We’ve had her since March & feeding a 90lb dog isn’t cheap! Especially because we feed the best food and give the best vet care!

Anything we raise will help Lacy, Terry (after her seizure) Maximillian’s vet visit and all the other everyday expenses that keep our dogs and cats going until they are adopted.

It’s a WICKED-ly WONDERFUL version of this week — with our Prince FIYERO and his foster mom 💚💚💚. Fiyero was stuck at the shelter and THANK GOODNESS we were able to save him thanks to his fosters! This 1-2 year old Prince has been amazing - he’s potty trained, well behaved, loves to cuddle …and is quite the SENTIMENTAL MAN who enjoys DANCING THROUGH LIFE!🕺🏼

We needs fosters! It’s free, it’s fun - and don’t say I’M NOT THAT GIRL because it’s easy and we provide everything you’d need! In ONE SHORT DAY, you could apply and we could be on our way to rescuing a dog and making sure he/she stays out of the shelter FOR GOOD!🫶🏼 You can apply on our website or reach out with any questions! Sweet Terry had a sudden seizure last night, but it seemed to only affect her head and wasn’t her entire body. It was scary and lasted awhile, but thanks to her amazing foster mom for getting her into the ER right away she was fine!

Our vets at are reviewing her medical records, but so far it seems like it was random and doesn’t look like epilepsy. We are very saddened by this news because she is the most perfect girl & we hope this doesn’t stop potential adopters. If our vet recommends a neurologist, we will of course take her there right away.

She is doing fine today and is back to her happy self. Send her love until all of your friends about this girl.

Say CHEESE!🧀 New AL wants to officially introduce himself by giving you a big smile!😁You may have seen that he was one of the dogs we saved from the last weekend …and he is settling into his foster home well! Al is about 1-2 years old, 13 lbs, and very sweet - anyone would be so lucky to have him join their family!

Slide👉🏼for the sweetest “how it started”(at the shelter last week) VS “how it’s going”(snoring in bed with his foster parents). What a difference 5 days makes! We are so happy that he’s cozy and safe and getting lots of love! Next step - forever home!🤞🏼

Fendi loves a cuddle and will gladly hang with you being cozy in the mornings! We think she’d thrive in a home with a yard as she is scared to go potty on leash and has some insecurities. This poor baby has a lot of trauma from whatever her life was before and we are happy to help her on her journey. We know it’s going to take a special person to adopt her and have patience with quirks. Her quirks made her special to us!

She LOVES dogs and we think would prefer being in a home with another dog to help with her confidence.

Is Throwback Tuesday a thing?! Well, we love this first photo that we initially got from the of Myers a few weeks ago. He was scared in there …but he was also rockin’ a mohawk so we knew he was a cool dude that we needed to welcome to the pack! Slide👉🏼to see what a difference a couple weeks makes! Look at that smile - he’s so happy to be out of the shelter & in his amazing foster home! ❤️

We are shocked that Myers hasn’t had any applications because he’s such a perfect little guy — about 1-2ish years old, 14 lbs, potty trained, great with other dogs, and loves to play. He definitely has a lot of that puppy energy, but also is affectionate & loves to cuddle! He’s learning the ropes of the good life …and we can’t wait to find him the forever home of his dreams!🤞🏼

Reggie is HOME thanks to and 💜 This boy has found his perfect home and is already spoiled. His new family stopped by our sister pet supply store to hook him up with a new collar and leash (adopters get a lifetime discount) and picked up their adoption present. Reggie was found on the streets and taking in by a Good Samaritan before finding his way to us. Thanks to for fostering. Now he will be forever loved! Have a great life Reggie! 👏🏽

We shared this photo of Fiyero the other day as part of a collection of pics, felt it needed to be the main picture on its own. He got so cozy on his foster’s lap within hours of coming out of the shelter. He is such a sweet boy who is potty trained and gets along with their cat. He is between one and two years old and we can’t wait to find his right family. 🤞🏽

Meet Maximilian 💪🏽 this 4lb guy is an eleven year old good boy who lived 10 years with his family until yesterday when they relinquished him to Maeday 😢 They said after having toddlers and life stuff they feel he’d be better in another home. We try not to judge and are just hear to help, so we were happy to welcome him into Maeday thanks to his foster parents

They’ve only had him one night, but so far he is potty trained, easy, setting boundaries with their dog and is a perfect houseguest. He is already neutered and we will be updating his vaccines and chip, but seems healthy and has lots of life left to live. Let’s give him the best next chapter of his life.

Francesca is ready for bed and loves hanging with her Foster’s pup Marge (who is a Maeday Alum) Francesca could go into a home with another dog or solo. She is very adaptable and is the sweetest girl. She’s a tiny pug, who is happy, potty trained and loves all humans.

Bates has found his forever home with & …and we couldn’t be more excited for this perfect match!❤️👏🏼 Bates came to us from the after we heard from them about how scared he was in there. He needed out & we were happy to give him his freedom ride! Bates wasn’t a for long though — he decompressed & settled in with his fosters & …and quickly started to flourish! He made a love match at our last adoption event & the rest is history!

Bates (now named Benson!) is now surrounded by love & will never see the shelter again. His two dads sent us this note last week in telling us they wanted to finalize the adoption — “Hi! We are absolutely in love with this sweet boy and would be thrilled to make it official - we want to be his forever home!💛 It’s been amazing watching him blossom this past week - from braving busy streets on our walks to being such a perfect gentleman during playdates. He’s truly found his place here, whether he’s snuggling with us on the couch or confidently exploring the world. We’re so proud of how far he’s come already and excited to continue this journey together. Thank you for bringing this wonderful pup into our lives!” 😭🥰 So wonderful! Happy Saturday from Felipe! This handsome boy isn’t only a model, he’s also a genius. We’ve discovered he loves a puzzle toy and he started with the higher level puzzle! He is basically Einstein!
