P4P 2020 Challenge Announcement: The 2020 fundraising year was even more of a challenge due to the Covid-19 Pandemic!! That being said, we are HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE that despite all the setbacks faced we were able to raise Cdn$3,140!!!! It never ceases to amaze me how such small amounts can add up. The conversion into US$ allowed us to send US$2,500 to Parrots International who will in turn see that 100% of these funds are used in the field for United for the Macaws AC http://www.macawforever.org/ This is another project supported by Parrots International and one that Pennies4Parrots has also supported in the past. As the Lear’s Macaws were not in such a precarious situation this year, we chose to re-direct the proceeds raised to another very worthwhile cause.
