It’s that time of year to help us raise money for our doggies of Adopt Me Rescue. We will be walking on Sat Oct 5 for our fundraiser called Race To The Rescues. All monies raised will help the dogies we save in 2025. We save many senior and injured dogs and they are the ones that cost us the most. I really need your help. Adopt Me Rescue still has Jake. He really, really needs a foster or adopter. Please help us find him one.
Jake has been in our rescue for over 1 yrs now and still hasn’t been adopted. We lost his foster a few months ago and he is now in boarding. Poor guy needs a foster or adopter because he hates being stuck in a kennel. If interested in fostering we cover all supplies and even medical until adopted or adopting please let us know. He’s really is a sweet dog.

Jake is a 1-year old German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix that weighs about 65 lbs. Jake, his Mom and his siblings were abandoned in a cardboard box outside a dumpster. All were adopted except Jake.
He is an absolute sweetheart who loves to be petted, scratched and cuddled. His Foster Dad sometimes picks him up like a baby and Jake loves it. He will do anything for belly rubs, even from strangers. Jake is extremely intelligent and can easily pick up new commands and tricks. He is currently working on the “wait” command and gains more patience every day.
Jake is learning how to socialize with other dogs as he can be impatient and does not understand how to approach a new dog. He will get in the other dog’s face trying to play which can frighten or annoy the dog. Jake is not aggressive but overly zealous in his attempts to meet and play with others. He would be best suited in a home with a family that can be patient and will work with him. Jake loves human attention and praise, he wants to be loved.
Jake loves to play tug of war with humans and canine friends, he is very athletic and has plenty of energy. He can run fast so playing tag with him can be a challenge for the human(s). He is well trained on and off leash and he bonds quickly with people.
Jake is up-to-date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. He has no medical issues and is in excellent health. Jake is best suited for an active family as he is a high energy dog. A family that goes on frequent hikes, runs or road trips would be perfect for him. He would do best in a home with another calm, patient dog that can be a playmate or a home where he is the only dog in the household.

Meet ROSIE❤️ and MOLLY🩵

Our newest rescues! This mother-daughter duo was surrendered by their owner who couldn’t care for them any longer. Rosie is 5 months old and Molly is 3 years old! Both girls are SUPER sweet and happy, but Molly is a quite shy and will take a while to warm up. Rosie and Molly love cuddles, pets, and are looking for their forever homes! Valley or Los Angeles area Adopt Me Rescue.
Fosters needed for these 4 dogs. Most are puppies one is 5 yrs old. All sweet and social dogs. They are all in TJ Mexico and all are street dogs running lose. All are updated on all their shots and spayed and neutered and dewormed except Chippy. He only has one round of shots and neutered once he is old enough. In order to bring them to LA we need committed fosters and hopefully we can find them by this weekend so they can make the trip. We provide you with all the necessary supplies and we even cover medical if they get sick. We had so much fun yesterday at our Drag Queen Bingo fundraiser at Hamburger Mary’s. Thanks to Gregory Van Abelar for coming and bringing friends and being one of our Mrs. Roper’s bingo caller. Both CK the lab and Jake are in boarding that’s not a good place for them because they love to run and play. Nothing like being in a real home until they find their forever home. Free Microchipping for Pets
More pets are lost between July 4 through 6. To ensure lost pets are reunited with their families, LA Animal Services will be offering free microchips for pets, starting June 22 through July 3 thanks to our friends from Petco Love (while supplies last). You can visit any of the six LA Animal Services Centers for more information about the importance of microchipping your pet.

C K is a handsome 4 year old Lab mix that weighs about 70 lbs. He was dumped by his previous owner at a high kill shelter. He has lots of energy and is great with all size dogs. He gets along with adults and kids, loves to eat, play, especially with the tennis ball.
He does great off leash, is crate trained and does know some basic commands. He walks well on leash with a martingale collar.

I’m in desperate need of adopter or foster for these 2 dogs. They will now go into boarding and the cheapest place I can find is $40 a day. Which our small rescue can’t really afford. Both people friendly and Jake loves other dogs and CK just doesn’t like dogs in his face and once he feels comfortable he’s fine. Really need to find fosters for them. He is losing his foster and either really needs to find him a new foster or adopter. Whichever comes first. We have had CK for over 1 year he really needs his forever home. We rescued him from the West Valley shelter. His owner turned him into the shelter saying they had no time for him.
