Woody is in a foster home with lots of smaller dogs. His foster says. -likes to play fetch (and brings the ball back!)
-LOVES the hose
-loves toys
-hates noise from the printer, blender, coffee maker (LOL)
-walks on leash well but likes to chew said leash
-seems a little skittish/spooked on walks and a little shy meeting new dogs (less so with little dogs, but is hesitant with new big dogs)
-doing better with housetraining with lots of opportunities to go outside
-takes correction from my dogs well (back the F off) but goes right back for more (I think having a big dog in the house with him who will put him in his place a bit would be perfect)
-VERY mouthy - likes to use me as a chew toy - A LOT (I'm sure he'll grow out of it but he still has those needly puppy teeth and this might not be good for little kids at the moment)
-was a bit protective when our yard service showed up (in a good way, but I would be sure to manage situations like this just in case)
-he's sort of like a shark - constantly on the move, doesn't sit still very often if at all (I have to crate him if it's nap time)
He's great - pretty uncomplicated, just needs structure and to learn some manners. He's definitely high energy but not bouncing off the walls crazy.
:)
