To continue to do what we do, we need two vital things: fosters and monthly or yearly donors. If you foster, we bring the dog to you with everything you will need to care for them. Your much-needed role is to help the dog decompress in a loving home. Take the dog to its vet visit/s and help us learn all about this sweet doggie while it is living with you. Admiral von Alsfeld is a 9-10 -month-old, long-haired German Shepherd with a lot of charm and personality. This beautiful boy with a wagging tail and fluffy coat loves going for walks and staying close to his human. A medium-energy dog, he is fun and adventurous, enjoys checking everything out and is well-behaved on-leash. Admiral likes to stop and explore on his walks and is happy to meet adults and children alike. He is also good at walking with other dogs and meeting them politely, his being friendly and respectful. Admiral is a sweetheart who likes to cuddle - he will lean against you while you pet him, as he really enjoys ear scratches. Smart and curious, he is a loyal and affectionate companion with an outgoing personality. He knows his "Sit" command, takes treats gently and is eager to learn more! Admiral enters playgroups with no issues and is a good greeter with all the dogs. He doesn't mind dogs playing roughly but is more of a mingler. He sometimes lies down and watches the other dogs for a while. He came to the rescue with Arnie, and they can be adopted separately or as a pair. Come meet them and you won't be able to help falling in love!

#AngelCaleb is a 7-yr-old Chihuahua Yorkie mix (we did his DNA). He is a very calm and lovey boy. He has insulinoma which is not deadly. He just gets to have snacks or tiny meals throughout his day. Hey, who doesn’t like feeding their dog?!

Mr. JoJo is very gentle. He loves to be around small dogs and he has zero prey drive. We believe he will be great with dog loving cats.
