Introduced a week ago and waiting for the tails to tango. 2022 Aztec Carbon PH VPI x 2022 Labyrinth Het VPI PH Carbon. We started out with the usual 9 pairings in Sep/Oct, bumped it up to 12 and currently floating at 10. We expect no more than 4 litters this season, but already have plans to bring the ol energy sucking baby Vision racks out of storage just in case. Glad I never got rid of them šŸ˜

Plumping up nicely! Guessing our first litter of the season will drop early April. 2022 IMG VPI Sunglow ProbH Carbon x Labyrinth Fire Het VPI ProbH Carbon. Swinging for the fences this season. We expect a few misses, itā€™s when we connect is whatā€™s going to matter. Itā€™s just a matter perseverance.

Broke out the messy stuff. Confidence level up! 2021 Labyrinth Het VPI PH Carbon x 2018 Carbon Snow. Been trying to get her to ovulate for years, and she finally did this year. She was locked up for months with a Leopard PH Blood that never took. It would be interesting if some s***m retention took placeā€¦.not exactly ideal, but interesting.

Had to buy back this Female when I saw her posted a year ago. I didnā€™t need her, but couldnā€™t see her go to anyone else. Sad s**t. 2019 Carbon PH VPI Snow just shed and outta quarantine. Iā€™ll find sumtin for her next season.

Had a 6+ hour power outage with the winds and fear of transformers sparking more wildfires like the ones in Palisades (devastating). Outside temps in the 50s, but once power kicked back on, the cages were all in the mid 70s. And look what happened. These have not shown any interest in the last 3 weeks. Donā€™t mind the mess. During breeding, If itā€™s yellow, let it mellow. If itā€™s brown, scrub it down.

Boaffliction was founded in 2012 when we redesigned our projects to focus primarily on high end, patterned and colored boa morphs.

With an idea, and a high interest loan from Capital One, we set out to try our luck with the VPI line. As time went on, we began to change our focus on what we liked first, and then, what we thought might have some legs as time went on.

Since then, we have had a number of successes, as well as some unexpected twists. We expect this will continue into 2019 and far beyond!
