A Purposeful Rescue

Zedd saw the wonderful Dr Robles today after having a couple seizures. The good news is he snaps back super fast from them. When we rescue these kids we have no history so we are starting with a blank slate but luckily we work with some incredibly talented docs who are there to guide us. We are starting Zedd on anti seizure meds and we will monitor him while staying in touch with Doc along the way. He’s the nicest little guy, happy, and playful so we want to make sure he stays that way for a long time. Keep you posted ❤️#zedd🦄 Foster @sarahharwich

Good Morning and a big Halloween welcome to Tyrone! This kiddo was found hiding in the bushes near @themonstersquadofficial residence so he was taken to the shelter for a stray hold in hopes that his guardians would be searching for him, but sadly, no such luck. However, his guardian angel Mike was there on his available date to scoop him just in case and is now his foster! Tyrone is a darling 3 year old muppet who will be available to adopt real soon! Meet Fries. She’s a 4 year old terrier who fancied some good ‘ol cubby hiding in her kennel. Typical shy dog behavior in a stressful environment (and why cubbies are there as a safe space for them). PJ is the best girl. She’s slowed down a bit and has been having mobility issues but she’s still as charming and happy as ever. Our Manny fund for senior dogs is set up for dogs just like her. PJ may or may not live with us in rescue forever. We are happy either way. The most important thing to us is that’s she’s loved and cared for and she is that ten times over. Fostering and adopting senior dogs is truly one of the greatest gifts you can give a dog but it’s also a gift to yourself-just ask anyone who has done it.
