Povidone Iodine—Nature’s Antimicrobial Solution🌱🦠🐾

If paws are bleeding🩸, have sores, or trauma from licking, I recommend using povidone iodine (Betadine™)—a safe, nontoxic solution that’s antifungal (for yeast and dermatophytes ), antibacterial (even against resistant infections ), doesn’t sting, and promotes wound healing .

If the paws are inflamed or have open sores or abrasions, soak them longer, ideally 2 to 5 minutes. This helps effectively address potential sources of infection, reducing the need for oral antibiotics or other drugs.

Sweet little Casper has joined his Lovebugs foster. He’s a 2 year old 16 lb soft coat Terrier mix. He’s pretty shy at the moment, so we’ll have more info once we get to know him a little better.

A chocolate Canelo sounds like a delicious Italian dessert, and he's definitely a sweet chocolate treat, but our Canelo is an affectionate boy who offers gentle kisses and loves to follow his humans around. He has typical youthful lab energy and loves to play. Fetch is his jam, but destructing a stuffie is always a fun treat too. This gorgeous boy has daycare experience and plays well with other dogs. He takes his responsibility of being FMs at home coworker seriously and quietly enjoys his Kong. NELLY was turned in to Animal Control by someone who said she was a stray. Guess they forgot she had a microchip with their name on it. So it wasn't hard for Animal Control to figure out they lied. For sure she wasn't going back to them. And that was the best outcome for Nelly. There are better things ahead for her. And better people. In fact, there's a really good person out there somewhere in Lab Land who will take one look at this pretty girl and think she's just the one for them. They may even be tempted to try to fatten her up - just a bit. Nelly is sweet and happy, and she's just waiting for someone to open their heart and their home, and invite her to come in and stay - forever. Promise.

Girlfriend went to the Humane Society to visit the dogs, they weren’t open yet and a couple was standing there waiting with this puppy to drop him off bc they didn’t have time for him and her heart just couldn’t take that so welcome to the family Ruger❤️❤️

Albert is dreaming of his dinner. AND a forever home. Shockingly we haven’t had any interest in this sweet little tripod. When we rescued him from the streets he was in terrible condition. Now he is now living his best life with his foster family. Dog friendly and well behaved, this sweet guy is waiting for his chance at forever happiness.
