WE LIVE UPDATES!!! One year ago today I took home this sweet boy to foster and here we are!!! 🐶❤️We don’t know his exact birthday so I’m going to start celebrating it on 12/26 and then his “gotcha day” in February when it became official 😏🥰Here’s 12 of my favorite things I’ve learned about donut over the past 12 months: 1. He’s a girls girl through and through (though we are working on trusting men!) 2. He LOVES to cuddle and often times will cry until I make room for him to sleep in the crook of my neck. 3. He does “mid kibbie check-in” every single morning wherein halfway through eating he comes and finds me, stares at me or cuddles me for 2 minutes, then goes back to eating his kib (not sure why he doesn’t do this at dinner too lol) 4. Speaking of dinner- in the past few weeks he’s started to get pre dinner zoomies and it’s so cute!5. He is very much a “stop and smell the flowers” kind of walker and doesn’t like going any faster than a 25 min pace per mile lol6. He LOVES little dogs. The smaller and tinier the better. I think he feels safe with them since he used to get attacked by big dogs. ❤️🩹 7. He doesn’t really bark, but he does “Chewbacca” when he really wants something lol8. The spot on his head is in the shape of a heart from an aerial view and I say he wears his heart on his head and I wear his fur on my sleeve lol 🥰 9. He came potty trained when taking him home which was a huge plus 😂9. He doesn’t really pick up on commands but he does know “sit” in which he lays down but whatever I’ll take it lmao10. He takes a little bit of time to trust and if you knew his full history it would make sense, but once he trusts you he’ll never leave your side. 11. You’ll never see this dog run unless it’s for a ball while playing fetch- then he’s a track star lol 12.
