We had some visitors recently: a mama mountain lion and her cub. The two cats hung out near the stables for a week while they dined on a deer mama had stashed in the bushes. Here's a video of the 8-month-old cub, courtesy of the Puma Project, which is tracking the lions via a radio collar. (Don't worry; according to a Puma Project representative, they've moved on, and are no longer near the stables.)

Our Humble Story

Founded in the 1930s, Bear Creek offers paddocks and pasture facilities. We have one large outdoor arena, a smaller sand arena, a round pen, and extensive trails. The stables offer access to miles of scenic trails in the Bear Creek Redwoods Preserve.

Of course, we only want the best for you and your four-legged friends, which is why we have:
