Meet our Practice Manager, Mary!
Mary has made her home in New Mexico for the past 30 years and has had a love for veterinary medicine since 2001. She loves serving the people and pets of this community. Outside of her professional life, Mary is an avid lover of the outdoors. She enjoys hiking and exploring the beautiful landscapes that New Mexico has to offer, often taking her dogs along for walks through the Bosque, where they can enjoy nature together.

As we say goodbye to 2024, we would like to take a moment to thank our amazing clients for trusting us with their pets care this past year. Please note: Our clinic will be closed tomorrow, January 1st, so our team can celebrate the New Year. We will be back to regular business hours on Thursday.

Meet our Lead Technician!

Desi was born and raised in Albuquerque and has always had a love of animals. She received her Associates of Veterinary Technology from CNM in 2017, making her an RVT. She loves general practice, where she enjoys supporting and leading her technician team and making sure your pets get the quality care they deserve. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 dogs, reading a good book, puzzles, playing video & board games, and laughing with close friends.

Introducing Dr. Merrilee O’Meilia!

Dr. Merrilee O’Meilia was born and raised in Oklahoma. She attended undergraduate and veterinary school at Oklahoma State University and graduated with her DVM in 2003. She has practiced small animal and wildlife medicine in Oklahoma, Kansas and New Mexico, but feels New Mexico is home and is glad to have finally returned to the state. Her interests include small animal medicine, geriatric medicine, soft tissue surgery and dentistry. When not in the clinic, Dr. O’Meilia enjoys spending time with her amazing husband, Chris, and her two boys Max and Duncan. She can often be found outside where she is learning to garden at elevation while drinking too much coffee. She also loves hiking, painting, listening to live music and trying new food.

Meet our practice owner, Dr. Ashlee Andrews! Dr. Andrews was born and raised here in Albuquerque. She attended veterinary school at Colorado State University and graduated in 2005. She is passionate about soft tissue surgery and wound management.

In her free time, she enjoys running and spending time with her six children.
