Hello everyone, due to another grooming shop taking my business name “because they couldn’t think of their own I suppose” and refusing to change it, I will unfortunately be the better person and change my business name as much as I hate to do so. There are no laws or rules in place in loudon county stating a sole proprietor can’t steal another business’s name, so loudon is refusing to address this issue….. I’ve been known as Pawsitively Perfect for 3 years now and I’ve built the name from the ground up, so this is very sad for me! But, due to my advertisement being strictly word of mouth… this just won’t work!! Also, this situation is causing a lot of confusion for my beloved clients and I don’t want my clients to suffer any confusion or headache! So I would love to ask you all…. Do YOU have any name ideas for my grooming shop? I’d love to involve everyone! ❤️ I WILL be trademarking this name so this will never happen again!

Ms Midnight is a 8 month old puppy, this is her 3rd groom today. Most puppies are terrified of the blow dryer but in her case she’s a pro!

Starting a puppy young with the right groomer who is understanding, caring, and patient with your dog, sets your dog up for success! Midnight doesn’t mind the grooming process and seems pretty happy to get a spa day! ❤️🐾

Fact of the day “Doodles don’t shed” Yes they do!!! I’m using a deshedding brush and a slicker brush on this doodle. It is NOT pulling the hair out, it is taking the dead and shedded undercoat out that can’t fall out of the coat by itself! 😊 This is an Aussie doodle. It all depends on genetics with how badly they will shed! Standard poodles shed as well but they shed slowly into their coats instead of dropping the hair like short hair breeds… which gives doodles and poodles the fake reputation of being non shedding breeds. That’s what causes matting 😊

Naps

Introducing my multitasking bathing specialist/assistant, Heidi. She likes to get your dogs clean and ready so they can come home to you as soon as possible, so she multitasks. 😂 Josie didn’t seem to mind! Lol

THIS is a perfect example of how your puppy should act during grooming! Maverick has been started at the correct age and his parents have him on a schedule! This helps introduce the grooming process to your puppies in a positive light and allows them to get used to all the new thing early on! Please start your puppies like this! Maverick has an entire lifetime of grooming, and because of his early start, he is already a champ!! ❤️🐾
