Meet Our Newest Trainer: Clayton Pinheiro

We are thrilled to welcome Clay as our newest trainer at ! Clay recently completed his Apprenticeship with us and has officially joined our team. His impressive military background and passion for working dogs bring an exceptional skill set to our kennel.

Serving in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division as an infantryman, Clayton has held several specialized roles, including Sniper Team Leader in a Recon Unit, Battalion Drone SME, JumpMaster, and Primary Combatives Instructor for his unit after completing SOC-P (Special Operations Combatives Program). Recently, he deployed to Poland during the invasion of Ukraine, training alongside Polish and other NATO forces to bolster readiness.

Driven by a goal to become a Canine Handler for a Special Missions Unit, Clayton discovered his love for working dogs. With his wife and son by his side in Tennessee, he’s dedicated to growing as a handler, trainer, and decoy. A graduate of NePoPo Silver School, he’s set his sights on earning his Gold certification this year. He’s also the newest member and certified decoy for .
