February 2 - Well, this beautiful Korean Fir is heading out of the house. Needle retention was EXCELLENT!! It lost Very few needles!!!! Only 326 days till next Christmas.

Christmas 2024 follow up...

We have a great selection of jams (blueberry, strawberry, mixed berry, and Christmas flavors) available for purchase. Stop by the farm (call first!) and pick out some for Christmas presents.

Grandpa's Farm is closed for choose-n-cut for the 2024 season. Thank you to all of our faithful customers and those new to the farm this year.

We were very blessed to have really nice articles about the farm in the winter edition of the Concord Monitor's "Around Concord" magazine and in the Saturday November 30 issue of the Boston Globe. And best of all, some of our grand kids were featured in the pictures.

This year we sold over 300 trees (a few more than we anticipated).

We will open again for Choose-n-Cut Christmas Trees on Friday November 29 (the day after Thanksgiving) at 9am!!! Hours are Friday and Saturdays 9am - 4pm and Sundays 12pm to 4pm.

We will have hand saws available, but you may bring your own. Sleds are also provided!

Our choose-and-cut trees are $65 each for any size. We also have a few of our own pre-cut trees.

And we have those wonderful “No Argument” “Marriage Saving” tree Pin Stands available for purchase. These stands are high quality and easy to use. We drill the bottom of the tree free of charge, you take the tree home and simply drop it right into the stand!!!

And we will shake, drill, and wrap every tree free of charge.

We have a great selection of wreaths available for you. If you previously bought skis with swags, you can purchase just the swag for those same skis. Bring the skis with you and we will attach your new swag to the skis for you.

We will be serving our complimentary cappuccino / hot cocoa and cookies again this year.

In the shop we have infused maple syrup and jams. New this year is Grammy's Blueberry Syrup (regular and maple). This is excellent to pour over your pancakes, waffles, and ice cream! And we have crafts including baby quilts, table runners, mittens, and more.

We are officially closed for the blueberry season.

That word "Free" really did it. We are out of blueberries. While we were at church this morning people came in and picked over 60 lbs of blueberries. And it wiped out everything that was on the bushes.

Again thank you for a wonderful season.

We open the day after Thanksgiving for cut your own Christmas trees and will probably only be open Friday Saturday and Sunday this year.

FREE blueberries!!

Grandpa's Farm blueberries are FREE for the next few days!!

Blueberry season is just about over. There are still berries but they are getting softer which does happen late in the season. They are especially great for cooking, making jam, and probably wine..

Please still weigh you berries and write on the white envelope how many pounds you take home so we can track production.

Blueberry season is not quite over!! The upper field (beside Clough Hill Road) is really nice picking now!!! There are still Blue Crop in the lower field. Attached are pictures of the upper field.

Well that just slows down progress!!!! Clip holding cable to gear selector arm on transmission rusted off. But, zip ties to the rescue. Zip tied it to get home and then drilled out the end of the arm to temporarily put in a bold and nylon lock washer to hold it for now. And now my "favorite" job can commence today... roofing.
