OWNERS HAVE BEEN FOUND! Thank you to everyone that shared!

These two were found this morning on State Route 3 in the area of Ireland Road and the big church as you’re heading into Loudonville. They appear to be under a year old. Very well mannered, not microchipped.

If you’re the owner, or know the owner - please help us share so these cuties can get back home! Proof of ownership will need to be provided.
The dog warden has been contacted and will go there if we are unable to find their owners.

We are looking to hire an additional REGISTERED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN!

An RVT is a LICENSED technician that has experience in surgery monitoring, surgery prep, blood draws, and client education with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Is that you? We’d love to meet you!

We are looking to fill a part time position that would consist of 20-30 hours a week including occasional rotating Saturdays. More details will be discussed during an interview. Please email your resume to [email protected]

Dr. Kareliz is a 2024 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is from Puerto Rico and currently resides in the Howard area with her husband Robert, Laufey (cat), Tom (cat), and Valentino (Gerbil).

Her special interests include bovine reproduction, dog/cat care and surgery!

Dr. Kareliz is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays for farm calls and dogs/cats appointments on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays!

This week was Vet Tech Week! 🎉
We celebrated the week with food, and lots of gifts! While we didn’t get individual pictures of our technicians we did get a group picture of our entire staff!!

We’ve added 2 new doctors to our family in the last 2 months and our technicians and support staff have done an amazing job helping our doctors get acclimated to things. These ladies have worked tirelessly to ensure all of our furry patients are provided with the best care. We are lucky to have each and every one of them!

You know what they say….behind every good doctor is an even better technician (nurse). ☺️🐾

Dr. Carlie is a 2024 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is from Hilliard Ohio and currently resides in the Howard area with her husband Josh, Ranger (dog), and Po (cat).

Her special interests include swine and equine although she will say she loves all species!

It is Veterinarian Appreciation Day! 🎉

How do we find the right words to show our appreciation for Dr. Byers and Dr. Cawrse?! These two have worked countless hours tending middle of the night calving cases, to daytime appointments and surgeries. We’ve also been blessed to have Dr. Kinney join us on Wednesdays as well as some fill in doctors from time to time also!

It takes a village, but we wouldn’t even be where we are without our amazing doctors! Thank you for providing top notch care to our beloved clients and fur-patients!

It’s Veterinary Receptionist Week!! 🎉

Veterinary receptionists are often a first and last point of contact during a pet care visit. The care and compassion they contribute greatly impacts the success of a practice and we are so incredibly lucky to have the amazing staff that we do! These girls spend a large deal of time answering phone calls, educating, grabbing tissues and consoling those who have lost their pet, and most importantly LAUGHING with clients! It is a stressful job, but these ladies go above and beyond to ensure our clients are provided the best care! Let’s shout them out!

Tammy Vail

Tammy has been here at Byland for almost a year now. She lives locally with her husband, Scott and two daughters Cheyenne and Taya. When their girls aren't keeping them busy with sports, their animals make sure to keep them hopping! The family can usually be found immersed in the delightful chaos of their own mini zoo that started with just six hens, but thanks to the wonders of chicken math, they now have a flock of 40 hens, one proud rooster, and 55 chicks! This animal-loving family also gas 10 purrfectly quirky cats, two playful pups, and two cuddly rabbits. 🏡🐾 🌟🐶🐱🐓🐔 🐥 🐰🌟
