ISO caregiver for in-home care. Male adult needs full time caregiver for activities of daily living. Meal prep, dressing, personal care/bathing and grooming, toileting, mobility assistance with walking and wheelchair, light housework, laundry. Must be able to assist with exercise/physical therapy, medication management. Must pass background check. Must be reliable and kind. Must be ok with dogs. 40 to 50 hours per week. Must be on time and have a good work ethic. Provide companionship and personal supervision. Health reporting of blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation if needed. No drugs, no alcohol. Monday through Friday schedule. Must be able to manage his appointment schedule, accompanying him while traveling to parts of Louisa and Charlottesville for his appointments. MEDICAID pays for transportation so you don't have to use your own vehicle. This is a Medicaid paid position. Call for details: 540-220-1669.

Steve has started intense outpatient PT, OT, and Speech therapy. I hope this will get him to a better place physically and cognitively. Please continue praying. God isn't finished with him yet! We are not giving up!

Update on Steve. He continues to fall. Ramp is installed for the wheelchair. They are cutting him loose from home rehab soon so he will have to go to outpatient intense therapy in Charlottesville. His memory improves a tiny bit daily. It's still a very long road. Please share the gofundme page . Funds are low but we are making it work. Thank you everyone!

Steve continues his rehab at home but also continues to fall. I have asked for more visits from the physical therapist. Once home rehab is done he will need additional outpatient rehab. We continue with the caregiver at home so I can work, but that is $6000 a month. I am having a hard time seeing any end in sight. Please share the gofundme page. Selling off our personal property to make him eligible for Medicaid. They might as well ask for your first- born child. It's depressing. Please pray he gets his mind back. This is a long road. Thank you everyone. Still waiting for the wheelchair ramp, too hot for the company to agree to come. Love to all, Carol and Steve.

Steve is having some mild improvement in his memory/retention. It's incredibly slow and at times frustrating to him, but he's tough. He is getting better at remembering what day it is and what month. I try to stay encouraging and hopeful, but honestly some days it's hard. I feel like his awesome caregiver gets more time with him than I do. He has these little glimmers of how he used to be and that makes me smile. The bills keep piling up but God will provide as we need, not as we want. Thank you to everyone who is still praying. God hears you (and me). Love to all, Carol

Happy Saturday everyone what a beautiful day. We as you know practice organic methods and we also are a plasticulture producers , we're we plant in plastic to preserve water .plus it let's us plant earlier and helps warm the ground. At the end of the year we get it up with the drip tape. Here is the machine lifting the plastic up so we can roll it up. Did this one handed so it might be a little shakey

We are getting water line up to the fields. Here is a short clip of how's it done. We also use this machine to get up all the plastic that we plant in.
