Unfortunately due to the snow we are unable to safely host CEF Agility League Week 1 this Thursday as planned.

We will delay the kick off night to Jan 23rd and extend the end of league to March 6th.

Share a snow pic of your dogs and we will see everyone in 2 weeks with hopefully less snow and warmer temperatures!

Agility League is coming back in 2025!!!

Kick off night of Cycle 1 is January 9th starting at 5pm. We will continue with the every other Thursday night schedule for this cycle so our other nights of play will be 1/23, 2/6, 2/20.

Registration remains at the $40.00 per dog fee and we will continue to allow FEO/drop in night participation.

And new this year you can pay for your CEF League fees with Zelle, Cash or Check!!!

We were just informed that they are coming for the footing to get it's annual spray treatment on Saturday. This means that we are grouping and emptying the arena of all items tomorrow so it can be ready for Saturday.

If you are available and able to help move equipment/chairs/panels etc. I wouldn't say no to some help. This typically takes 1-2 hours and I plan to start around noon time on Friday. Items don't go far as we typically stow them in the stalls of the barn or breezeway but it is a lot of back and forth walking. Feel free to just show up, no need to RSVP.

Dr. Fuller will be at the farm on Dec 8th to offer 1:1 Sports Physical sessions. This is a great chance to get your sport dog assessed by her and she can help answer any questions you have, create a strength and conditioning plan based on their needs and identify any muscle imbalances.

I have personally worked with her to get Huxley back into shape after his 11 month injury and can say that his fitness and overall well being is a large part due to her knowledge and skills.

Thank you to everyone who came out for the last agility trial of the year by supporting the MADCo Agility USDAA Thanksgiving 3-day extravaganza.

We appreciate all the competitors who help make these smaller trials work and jump in for all the jobs whenever needed with a smile.

Hope you got to enjoy some agility time, reach some goals and are excited to train. We cannot wait to cheer for you next year at our events!

We wanted to take a moment to update you about a potential health and safety situation that has arisen at Close Enough Farm. A farm patron has a dog in their home that is currently being treated for Leptospirosis.

The diagnosis was just made this morning, so all of this information is very new to everyone involved. The sick dog has never been on farm property, but was in close contact with other (vaccinated) dogs in its household that have visited the property over the past week.

At this time, all veterinary recommended protocols are being followed in said household, and no other dogs have shown any symptoms. As a precaution, we will be spraying and disinfecting heavily trafficked areas at the farm over the next 24 hours.

Reminder that Beverly is back in action and coming to the farm monthly for human and dog massages.

She will be here Nov 13th!!! Massages are done in the kennel building which is climate controlled.

Ring Rentals are available on Saturday and Sunday for our dirt hall. You can fill out a request for day and time in the comments section.

Currently we have a US Open inspired jumpers course from judge Marko Makela. It is A3 level but we numbered an easier path too if you need something else.

Thanks to everyone who came out and supported our UKI trial at the farm this weekend.

We got to take on challenges designed by Stacie Kwik while welcoming a new judge to UKI Leigh Peper to her first assignment.

Big thanks to Sarah Crane and Lynn Sigman who help me out with some of the larger helper roles so I don't drown in tasks.

Hope you enjoyed the nice Fall weather, photo opportunities and time spent with your dogs.

Just a reminder that the closing date for our October 19-20th UKI trial is this THURSDAY! This is a great chance to practice on dirt footing before the US Open in November.
