Based on current entries team is no longer going to be hosted meaning shorter days as we won't build or run those classes.

Just wanted to make an early announcement that CEF Agility League is moving to WEDNESDAY nights starting in 2026!!

We know many of you take classes and wanted to give you time to adjust your schedules and plan ahead so you can come join us!

Registration will open in December as we are making a few updates to our format but overall things will run similar to 2025!

Thank you to everyone who has had an RV reservation at the farm over the course of the year so far at any event.

We were able to make a donation to the Louisa County Animal shelter and chose to donate a couple of Kuranda beds from their wish list. We just got confirmation they were delivered today and with the shelter at max capacity we hope they provide some comfort.

Want to support shelter pets in need? Kuranda Dog and Cat beds are comfortable, chew proof, easy to clean and made in the US. Donate to Louisa County Animal Shelter now!

Thanks to everyone who came out for the three day USDAA Madco Trial.

Additionally if you missed out on stopping by the Christmas photo both by Dogs Del Sol she is coming by on Tuesday evening and Thursday morning and said she would be able to add a fee portrait sessions in if people were interested!!

November 14th/15th the farm will be hosting a Scentwork Sniff and Go (Run thru) style event.

You can find more details at the link in the comments and additionally pre-register. We are very excited to try something new and give people the chance to come try out some hides on the farm!

🎄Christmas has come a little early!🎄

Do you need a Christmas portrait of your pups to get ahead of your holiday cards? Then boy have you come to the right place. 📸

We had such an amazing turn out at our Close Enough Farm 🎃Spooky Halloween🎃 photo booth that we have decided to offer some ❄️Christmas❄️ themed photos this weekend.

🎁Christmas Photo Booth Photos🎁:

When:
Saturday and Sunday November 1st and 2nd starting at 12 noon and extending into the late afternoon pending demand. There is an agility trial on site so we will absolutely stay until after the trial is over to give plenty of time for competitors to get photos.

Where:
Close Enough Farms (in the turf ring building)
6149 Poindexter Rd
Louisa, VA 23093

Price:
We request a $10 up front sitting fee for each family to ensure we don't spend a lot of time and effort editing photos for people who don't want them. We accept cash, Venmo, Paypal, and Zelle.
After that the photos are edited they will be posted on our website for purchase. The cost will be $22 per individual photo with package deals available for purchases of 5 or more photos.

What to expect:
We will provide a booth style Christmas themed backdrop with props/decorations. You can bring any additional items you would like to be have in the photos. Feel free to dress your dogs up for their portraits. Please remeber to bring plenty of treats to help set your dog up for success.

There will be crating of dogs in the turf ring building and there is an active agility dog trial occurring on location so be mindful of the other animals around you.

Photos are usually posted 1-2 weeks after the event, so plenty of time to be ready for Christmas Cards and other holiday fun.

We got perfect Fall weather to host our final UKI agility trial of the year this past weekend.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support the new trial format, pose for portraits with our photographer and do your best to win socks!!!!

There is never a shortage of people to thank but thanks to Ashley Yanez for coming to judge, Sarah Crane for course building and supplying our amazing toy prizes from Swipe Right Creations. Additionally Lynn Madco for always jumping in to help me keep sane in the days before, during and after with all the farm prep work.
