Thank you to everyone who has had an RV reservation at the farm over the course of the year so far at any event.

We were able to make a donation to the Louisa County Animal shelter and chose to donate a couple of Kuranda beds from their wish list. We just got confirmation they were delivered today and with the shelter at max capacity we hope they provide some comfort.

Want to support shelter pets in need? Kuranda Dog and Cat beds are comfortable, chew proof, easy to clean and made in the US. Donate to Louisa County Animal Shelter now!

Thanks to everyone who came out for the three day USDAA Madco Trial.

Additionally if you missed out on stopping by the Christmas photo both by Dogs Del Sol she is coming by on Tuesday evening and Thursday morning and said she would be able to add a fee portrait sessions in if people were interested!!

November 14th/15th the farm will be hosting a Scentwork Sniff and Go (Run thru) style event.

Remember you don't have to be entered in the show to come have some Christmas themed photos of your dogs taken by Dogs Del Sol!!!! And if you are entered she will be hanging around after show days so you have time without missing your runs!

🎄Christmas has come a little early!🎄

Do you need a Christmas portrait of your pups to get ahead of your holiday cards? Then boy have you come to the right place. 📸

We had such an amazing turn out at our Close Enough Farm 🎃Spooky Halloween🎃 photo booth that we have decided to offer some ❄️Christmas❄️ themed photos this weekend.

🎁Christmas Photo Booth Photos🎁:

When:
Saturday and Sunday November 1st and 2nd starting at 12 noon and extending into the late afternoon pending demand. There is an agility trial on site so we will absolutely stay until after the trial is over to give plenty of time for competitors to get photos.

Where:
Close Enough Farms (in the turf ring building)
6149 Poindexter Rd
Louisa, VA 23093

Price:
We request a $10 up front sitting fee for each family to ensure we don't spend a lot of time and effort editing photos for people who don't want them. We accept cash, Venmo, Paypal, and Zelle.
After that the photos are edited they will be posted on our website for purchase. The cost will be $22 per individual photo with package deals available for purchases of 5 or more photos.

What to expect:
We will provide a booth style Christmas themed backdrop with props/decorations. You can bring any additional items you would like to be have in the photos. Feel free to dress your dogs up for their portraits. Please remeber to bring plenty of treats to help set your dog up for success.

There will be crating of dogs in the turf ring building and there is an active agility dog trial occurring on location so be mindful of the other animals around you.

Photos are usually posted 1-2 weeks after the event, so plenty of time to be ready for Christmas Cards and other holiday fun.

We got perfect Fall weather to host our final UKI agility trial of the year this past weekend.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support the new trial format, pose for portraits with our photographer and do your best to win socks!!!!

There is never a shortage of people to thank but thanks to Ashley Yanez for coming to judge, Sarah Crane for course building and supplying our amazing toy prizes from Swipe Right Creations. Additionally Lynn Madco for always jumping in to help me keep sane in the days before, during and after with all the farm prep work.

October 31st-Nov 2nd Halloween trial and Thanksgiving weekend!!!

Here is all the details about our photographer joining us at the farm this weekend for our UKI trial.

The booth is indoors where there are hay bales, pumpkins, lights ✨️

🔸️Location: Close Enough Farms

🔸️Date: October 18 & 19

🔸️Deposit: Yes, 10$ per person, any number of dogs allowed ( can be cash, zelle, or paypal ) this fee covers the amount of editing time, no pressure to buy photos.

🔸️Editing time frame: 1-2 weeks, photos will be up on my website with package deals available

We are ready for a Spooktacular weekend of UKI agility at the farm. We are still taking late/day of show entries.

Please look at all the information posted in the pictures below to help you plan your day and if you wish to join us.

First dog on the line at 9:30am each day. We are trying out a split day schedule with a hard not starting any earlier time of 12:30pm for the 2nd part of the day so you can plan your arrival without stressing about missing your runs!!!!

Additionally whether you are entered or not Adri Sol has a Fall portrait booth setup in the turf hall and will be hosting photo sessions. She is charging a $10.00 sitting fee and then you will be able to purchase your photos if you wish online after the show. You do not have to be entered in the show to swing by and have her snap some photos of your dog.

Reminder that our UKI trial this weekend is still open for Late Entries ($18.00 a run) and Day of Show entries at late fee price.

We are using a new schedule with the levels split in half each day:
Sat AM Senior/Champ
Sat PM Beg/Novice
Sun AM Beg/Novice
Sun PM Senior/Champ

If you are able to email your entry ahead of time it is a huge help but otherwise just bring your completed forms to the score table when you arrive.

The weather looks Fall perfect and we are going to have many Halloween themed prozes and a great photographer on site for Fall themed portraits too.

Our Trial Secretary is back in town and has caught up on all entries and processed the online entries from UKI.

Everyone should have a confirmation email showing your entry information at this time. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDERS. If you don't see your entry please reach out by email to us (close enough [email protected] **remove spaces**) and we will help you get it sorted out.

Additional trial details will be sent later this week and you can still send a LATE entry or do a DOS entry if you wish!
