Improvise. Adapt. Overcome.🤣 my three pet goats are having a containment issue with their new pen at the moment, so Maze has very graciously provided use of her covered kennel and moved into the spare on until their pen can be fixed. Fun fact, goats HATE rain, and water of any sort unless it’s for drinking, so they needed the roof to stay nice and dry! Not my ideal solution, because Maze’s prey drive is going to either go through the (lack of) roof or shes going to lose her marbles. Or both🤣

I still see people who think that socialization means the puppy must meet other puppies/dogs. NO! Especially not ones outside your family or friends. Nouns; People, places, and things!
Also, a “certificate” does not in any way guarantee that the trainer is any good. Many of the box stores have a very simple online course and test for their “trainers”, many of those have only had minimal real life experience. Make sure your trainer has a demo dog and talk to other people that they have worked for.
Lastly, my veterinarians have never given training advise, they know that is not their area of expertise. Be leery of one that does.

Over the moon to have had .mosley work Maze the other day!!! Tank is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met and he is a phenomenal decoy!!! He taught my decoy class a few months ago and I love watching him work dogs and learning from him! He is a decoy I aspire to reach the level of someday and I’m so so thankful he have Maze some bites and helped her with some targeting and grip development since it had been so long since she’d done bitework! Super stoked to be able to know and work with and learn from you man!!!

What an absolute honor to get a session with at the !!! Maze absolutely blew me out of the water especially with it having been about a year since she’d done any bitework and only backyard bitework at that! I am absolutely thrilled with her and so humbled to hear Cody praise us as a team! She demonstrated fantastic decoy neutrality and secondary obedience and rose to the occasion with every single environmental pressure Cody added during our session, from a rain poncho to water to the clatter stick to a drain pipe. Scott gave me a phenomenal dog and I cherish her every single day, she challenges me as a first time handler but is so forgiving when I make mistakes and she’s so clear headed, right after this she was letting Cody pet her with his suit pants still on. Coincidentally enough he started decoying with my trainer which is so incredible and humbling, and he had nothing but great things to say about Bryant. It is amazing to meet such a successful “big name” in the dog world who is so down to earth and kind! Thank you so much again Cody for giving some tooth hugs to my girl!
