Ginger apparently really likes sheep milk 😆
Nova…that’s not for you 🤦
We’ve had a visitor the past couple of weeks and he’s getting pretty comfy 😳 I’m personally not too worried about a fox; the horses and sheep are too big and I haven’t lost any chickens. Wildlife lives here too and as long as my foxy friend leaves us be we can return the favor 🦊
If you’re done with your pumpkins the sheep would love them 🎃
Hanging out with Snowflake 🐓
People often comment on how calm my dogs are when they’re in public. And that’s because they spend plenty of time doing things like running around shredding leftover sheep fleece 😊 of course I only got the video when they were slowing down!
When you’re a lamb you can play with your food all you want
I love how lambs just randomly jump up like this 😂 they’re having such a good time!
Apparently, Ginger took Moon-Moon’s spot
Frankie is here to remind you that we have EGGS! $5/dozen! Let us know if you want some!
We have button or king quail! They’re not terribly useful but wow are they CUTE 😍
The automatic door to the coop is frozen shut, which is fine - they have food, water and even their own string of lights.
The young Brahmas thought they wanted to go outside…until they got a better look… 🤣
It never gets old seeing quail engage with something new. I love seeing them experience the world ❤️
The baby birds got to free range for the first time today! They had a lot of fun.
Our small herd of sheep is hanging out at The Food Literacy Project to provide some mowing and fertilizing services. One sheep was not cooperating, so there are only three there and one is back here at the farm
The quail got some new hay and they are having a blast!
We are sold out of eggs at the Shively Farmers & Artisans Market, but Ginger is doing some painting 🎨 We have small canvases for $5 and big ones for $10
Happy quail doing happy quail things
