Second debt paid! Amanda at got her prize pack for being the top winner in the Lexington group. She won cash, gift cards, a green RTIC cup, candy, Bluetooth speaker and more specialty popcorn. She loves going to the movies and promised to put it all to good use!

Finally started paying off my debts! was always so good to bring up how I hadn't gotten Morgan her winnings yet from the March Madness challenge every time we showed up for a case. Well we FINALLY rectified that!

Congrats again, Morgan. She won a prize pack that included some money, gift cards, candy, a custom cup from RTIC, Bluetooth speaker, and specialty popcorn from the always amazing .

What does a surgery team do when there's a last minute cancellation due to a skin infection??

KVS took the opportunity to walk the big four bridge and enjoy a little sunshine (and pizza from Jeffersonville). It's been an eventful last couple months for us. Between a couple different sicknesses and a nasty wreck on top of a very busy schedule, we needed the little bit of respite - and delicious pizza never hurts! Then we followed up our little excursion with a TPLO for an employee of one of our partner clinics.

It came down to the final minute in the final game! With Florida's come-from-behind victory in the NCAA championship, there was a lot of shakeup in the standings of our bracket challenge.

Winning the Louisville bracket is Morgan at .

And winning the Lexington bracket is Amanda at .

The brackets were all super close and these two definitely deserved to win! Your prize packs are coming soon!!

We also did clinic winners based on team averages. In Louisville won the clinic prize. In Lexington, had the best team average.

Finally, the GRAND prize goes to ! They had 5 entrants into the challenge and ALL FIVE people were in the top 50%! Not a single score below 1000!! I think they must be watching college basketball between each exam and surgery! 😂. Super strong showing for them. They will win a grand prize that I'm extra excited about!

We had so much fun with this this year. I loved all the engagement of each clinic that we walked into the past few weeks. We received so much positive feedback, that we will DEFINITELY do this every year. And for those who didn't participate because they "didn't know anything about basketball".... One of my assistants beat me this year who only watched one game all year - because she was given great tickets to watch her alma mater play! 😂. Congrats !

And they wonder why surgeons get the big heads!

One of the technicians at one of our partner clinics found out that it was Dr. Bruce's birthday this week. She decorated the OR and even baked him a delicious cake with cream cheese icing (his favorite!). Allison is the best!

Dr. Bruce then spent his birthday weekend trying to work off all that cake by finishing the last leg of the triple crown. Running 10 miles for the first time as a 41 year old! Pictured with his good friend and the Veterinary internist at Dr. Forrest Cummings.

IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!

Those who know me, know that March is my favorite time of year! 🏀A couple of weeks ago I was hit with an idea. What if we put on a bracket challenge for our partner clinics?? Make it a fun way to give back and to promote a little friendly competition between our partner clinics.

**Exciting Transformation at Hopewell Animal Hospital!**

Swipe to see the incredible before-and-after of Hopewell Animal Hospital’s operating suite! They moved into their brand new hospital just over one week ago. And this new hospital will blow you away! The old space was tight, but their brand-new surgical suite is spacious, modern, and built to provide top-notch care - even if Dr. Brown doesn't think all the finishing touches are completed. 😂

We’re thrilled for our friends at Hopewell and their gorgeous new facility. We have always loved working with this team as they were one of our very early clients. And now we can't wait to keep coming back to this brand new space for years to come!

Not only are they offering Internal Medicine and Oncology, but a new Urgent Care to Louisville. And we will be happy to help break in the new OR with surgical cases when needed! 😂
