Our sweet Maxx is ready to SPRING OUT INTO A NEW HOME!

Maxx is a handsome 6 year old Border Collie/Pit mix looking for his forever home. Maxx lived happily with a very loving family for the past several years that unfortunately could no longer keep him, but they were able to provide us with lots of information about him for his future owners, so let us tell you a little about this good boy.

Maxx is housebroken and crate trained, he actually loves his crate! It's his safe place.

He is dog friendly but has also lived as an only dog and done well so either situation could work for him.

Maxx knows several basic commands and loves to do tricks for treats. Some of his favorite things to do are sunbathe outside or just in the sun shining through a window, get all the belly rubs, and play with toys.

Maxx would do best in a home with kiddos 16 and older because unfamiliar children can make Maxx nervous. Otherwise, Maxx is such a gentleman and loves snuggling with his people. This sweet boy would be a great companion for someone looking for a laid back partner in crime to enjoy life with. If you are interested in meeting Maxx, stop by the shelter today!

While having friends, family, or neighbors care for your pets may seem like a logical choice, professional pet sitters do this for a living and have the experience necessary to care for your animals. This means that you can trust me to act responsibly when I enter your home. With my past vet tech experience, you can count on me to be there for you! Working for a vet allowed me the unique perspective of providing more than just pet care to my clients. Because of my background, I can identify a medical issue and know what to do in case of a pet emergency. I am schooled in vet care and can also dispense medication. I have 2 dogs of my own... both rescue pups and they very special to me. If you are in need a pet sitter I hope you will give me a call! I offer in home boarding at my home, daily visits (3 per day) if you prefer for your fur baby to be at your home, and also walks during the weeknds if you’re busy and need an extra helping hand.
