T-35hrs until the first cut. Gracie is in 10th place. Help our girl out friends!! 😍

Gracie is a long-hair mini dachshund mix. She lost the use of her back legs this past year due to genetic IVDD, but she is our world!!

So live videos have just not been working for me today lol. Gracie’s vet appointment went well. Her scans came back great with no issues or concerns of spinal issues or new concerns. Bloodwork came back great as well all but her white blood cell count. Analysis show that sweet girl still has a UTI or has another one. Bless her heart she’s been fighting this for months. Thank you to her wonderful Dr at LouVet Animal Clinic for getting her in quickly and getting her on some medication that will hopefully knock this. Thank you all so much for all the concerns for our sweet girl. We’re so grateful that she’s a healthy girl otherwise!

Baby girl is laying on a heating pad and resting. We were able to give her some pain meds at the advice of doctors to help her rest for now. We see her doctor tomorrow at 3:30pm for scans. Please send good thoughts her way. We are hopeful that this is just arthritis and the cold weather has intensified it.

Guys, please keep our sweet Gracie in your thoughts. We woke up this morning to her showing signs of being in pain. She is exhibiting behavior like she did before she had to go into emergency surgery last May. Nick and I are both sick at our stomachs and trying to figure out what next steps need to happen.
