- All dogs and cats can be affected by heartworm disease if not on monthly prevention.
- Having heartworms can be fatal.
- Yes, indoor only cats can contract heartworm disease. All it takes is one infected mosquito to fly into your house.
- Your fur baby should be on heartworm prevention YEAR ROUND. Missing even one month can put your pet at risk.

Please call the hospital if you have any questions. We are here to help keep your baby safe!

We also work closely with Chewy and PetMeds if you order prevention through them.

Want to say a big thank you to Dr. Higgs for our annual CPR training class! 👏🏼👏🏼This year was our first one in the new hospital and since we had so much space, we were able to invite the other local hospitals to join! We had a great turn out and had a fun time learning about CPR ☺️☺️ can’t wait for next year!

This offers a quiet getaway from the smells and sounds that dogs make in the hospital to keep it as stress free as possible. They also have their own personal movie that they can enjoy while they relax in the dark.
