Pawsitively Dogs is now hiring an immediate full time position for a Groomers assistant. Not looking for any groomers at this time. Work schedule is 4 days a week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Off days Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday. Position starts at $12.50/hr. Must love dogs and be comfortable around all breeds and sizes. It’s a fast pace environment. Candidate must possess the following. Must work well with others and be team player. Positive attitude, self motivated as well as having reliable transportation. This salon stays booked out for 3 months or more regularly so staying busy is not an issue. We need someone that is very dependable. Experience is preferred but not necessary. We are located at 1821 Brownsboro rd, Louisville KY. Thank you.

Its official! Pawsitively Dogs Grooming is the Courier Journals Community Choice Award winner for Best of Louisville! Thank you all that voted!! Pawsitively Dogs turned 16 years old in June and we wouldn’t be here without the wonderful clients I have grown to know over the years. I also want to thank Kristin for being a big part of us making it this far, I don’t know what I’d do without you. I can’t think of a better person to work alongside every day. You rock! Thank you for being you!

Pawsitively Dogs would like to announce that in addition to our new scale… we also have a chip scanner! Hoping to only have to use it to make sure client chips are still functioning.. and not to try to find a lost dogs home… but we now have one for whatever occasion might come up! With all the lost and found dogs in the Louisville area, we decided it was more than time to add one to our building.

Do any of you have a place in your heart for a senior dog? This little guys mom is unable to care for him any longer and he is looking for a place to live out his life. He is around 11 years old, neutered, good with other dogs (not sure about cats). He was, however, just diagnose with diabetes so he will need help to keep that under control. He is possibly going blind as well. If you think you can open your heart and home to him. Let me know! I will try to answer any questions you have.
