Shamrock Acres Boarding Kennel offers a year round climate controlled facility for your pet. Each run has it's own door to a completelyfenced outdoor run.

Runs offer privacy and an opportunity to bring favorite "things from home" such as a bed or toys. Dogs do not have to be moved from their run, ensuring your pet's safety.

We are holding off on some playtimes… this snow is pretty difficult for some of our little dogs and older dogs to walk in…. But Molly seemed to enjoy it a little more today

Please take a minute if you would to thank our amazing Shamrock staff! This isn’t a “normal” job… it’s imperative we have people here even in crazy weather events… working in animal care takes a special person with a special passion… we can’t simply not come to work. We have lives depending on us… and we have people that trust us… so please take some time with me to let them know how much you appreciate them… Bc I know I do!!!! We are going to stay open until 3 for pickups today. I anticipate having normal business hours tomorrow, Tuesday the 7th from 8-6… stay safe and warm!

Monday snow update! We will be opening the kennel at nine today. We will stay open until early afternoon probably until about one or so for pick ups if anyone wants to pick up today. We may remain open longer, I will keep you posted! Please stay safe! -Lindsay

Sunday Snow update!!! Wanted to reassure everybody that all dogs and kitties are safe, warm, and comfortable this snowy Sunday. Driving has become impossible, however. Even cars with four-wheel-drive are having a very, very difficult time. I’m sure everybody is well aware of all the accidents on the interstates and around town. We will most likely not have kennel hours tomorrow. While I understand some of you may risk coming out to pick your dogs up, at this point, I don’t feel that it would be a wise decision. I don’t want to risk having our staff members try to drive in either…. I do want to remind everyone that we have an industrial size generator and staff members prepared to spend the night so that the kennel is taken care of in the morning. I will touch base with everybody, and those of you who have my cell can text me or you could message me here. If for some reason, the roads are able to be treated and are safer to travel on, I may open for a few hours in the morning tomorrow. Unfortunately, there’s so much left up in the air so we will just kind of have to wait and see how it goes.
