We believe that no kitten should be euthanized because no one can/will care for him. Happy Halloween! We still have two boys up for adoption from one of our fosters. The brown tabby is named Beckett and the grey and white kitten is named Franz. They cannot wait to find their forever homes! Franz loves to give kisses and cuddles. Beckett has plenty of energy! We hope they can go together as a bonded pair, but please let us know if you would like to adopt one of them!

Meet four of our adoptable kittens: Franz, Alfred, Louis, and Beckett. They are eight-week-old male kittens. We call this litter the Royals, inspired by Franz’s original name “Archduke.”
The first three were abandoned on the side of the road, wrapped in a blanket and coated in fleas. They had numerous flea baths. They were also suffering from illness. About a week later Beckett was surrendered to a shelter that did not have the proper resources to care for him. They were all found starving and rejected. It took LOKR’s dedicated time and effort to get them healthy. We are looking for their forever homes with people who understand what they have been through and will care for them every day.

#1 Franz (named after Archduke Franz Ferdinand)

Archduke or “Franz” has an interesting white and grey Turkish van helmet with one giant spot on his back. Franz has grown into a silly kitten with an overload of energy. He always wants to play. He likes to arch his back in a way that threatens that he will get you if you move another inch. Make sure you freeze or he will pounce. He is hyper and wild with energy and only has two modes: on and off. Franz is either asleep or playing, there is no sitting and watching or in between. He is the bravest one who would approach to sniff a new toy, so I think of him as the group leader. He is best friends with Beckett, they are a bonded pair. They play and cuddle together, and keep each other occupied. When Beckett arrived it was as if Franz met his best friend. They comforted each other like brothers or littermates would.

#2 Alfred (named after Alfred the Great)

Alfred or “Little Alfred” has a fuzzy grey coat with faint tabby stripes. Alfred is a sweet kitten with a kind soul who is more timid and obedient than the others. He has a gentle approach and can keep his composure when things get exciting.
He can also be brave, charging in to play with the others at the right moment. He likes to be held. Alfred requires patience but he is unconditional with his love and trust. Alfred is a total sweetheart and cuddle monster.

#3 Louis (named after King Louis XIV)

Louis has a unique black and white tuxedo coat with a white splotch on his back. Louis is a silly kitty who likes to bap, also known as a cat slap. He would be a lot of fun to live with. He became the Bapman because of his markings and silly attitude. He was also the first kitten to bap. He likes to be the big man so he will rear or bap to show everyone that he thinks he is the toughest of the group. Louis gets hyper and rambunctious with the other kittens. He enjoys playing and exploring new places like undiscovered closets.

#4 Beckett (named after Thomas Becket)

Beckett is a gorgeous black and brown tabby kitten who looks like an American Shorthair. His cute face will captivate you. Beckett is the wild one. He is best friends with Franz, they have been close ever since they met. Beckett loves to climb. While he has lots of energy and drive, at the same time he is easy to bond with, and he is super sweet. You might find this little one cuddling on your shoulder, nestled there sniffing the back of your neck and tickling you with his nose. His quick paws suggest he has the skills of a hunter. House flies will not last long with him nearby.
