Basset Rescue of Kentuckiana The rescue is an organization and operates through fundraising, donations and adoption fees. There are adoption fees.

Fees cover spay/neuter, shots, micro chips, & vet care. All donations are welcome as the adoption fees don't always cover the vetting

When sending apps for any dog. You MUST have your current pets up to date on vetting. We do check with vet. If you choose not to vaccinate your pets, we accept a titer test.

Also, if you aren’t the person listed at the vet, we need to know the name on the account.

On both accounts this is helping with calling multiple times to the vets & confusion with vet office

This gem of a handsome hound is a 3yo fully vetted & ready for his new home. He doesn’t like to crate but will. He sleeps on his bed & yours too. He’s doggie door trained. Loves his toys & duck jerky treats. Very loving & wants in your lap. He MUST have fenced yard. Supposedly doesn’t get along with male dogs but hasn’t had issues with ours. I believe because no dogs neutered in previous home.

Watson & Sadie are a bonded pair. He doesn’t go very far from her. They MUST haven secure fenced yard. They will get in trouble & are runners. They are 6yo. Fully vetted. Sadie (tri color) is shy & Watson is outgoing & inquisitive. They were kept outside so they aren’t house trained. They need a foster/adopter to work with them.
