One of the easiest ways to help us help others is to select My Dog Eats First as the charitable recipient on your Kroger Community Rewards Program card. Kroger then sends us a check several times a year which allows us to purchase pet food and supplies to help the houseless and underserved individuals in our community.

Giving a big shout out and thank you to Jill Decker at Camp Fur Kids, her generous clients and to the staff who helped us load all the food at pickup. Camp Fur Kids offers doggie day care with cameras so you can see how happy your doggie is, grooming and in home pet sitting services. Check them out!
We picked up the donation the day before the snowstorm so we were scrambling to get it into storage. It took 2 vehicles to transport everything. Thank you for your generosity!

Can you see the difference in this sweet, sad girls face from the first day she was rescued to pictures taken a few days after the rescue?
We were contacted by a dog mom who could no longer care for her dog. We tried to find a foster, rescue or adopters but everyone is full. We contacted CRC- Paws Cause and Randy Tipton, owner of Barks and Bubbles, who immediately drove to the home, spoke to the owner, realized this pup needed immediate care and whisked this poor baby to his facility. She was vetted the next day, where it was discovered that she has Lyme disease. She is safe, sheltered and eating high calorie puppy food. Oh, and she gets to ride around in the work truck all the time. Life is now good for Molly!
If you would like to help us and CRC continue to get Molly to her best life, please go to MyDogEatsFirst.org, Paypal- [email protected] or Venmo@Mydogeatsfirst to donate and let us know it's for Molly. We will continue to post updates.

There's a beautiful song written by Maren Morris called Better Than We Found It, that says, " If we sit on our hands and do nothing about it, will we leave this place better than we found it?"
Seeing a problem and wanting to help is the first step. Housing the unhoused is the problem, and one we can't solve but we can feed and provide care for their pets, one person and pet at a time.
