Look who is out of the hospital and feeling better! Thanks to her foster mom, Katelyn, who realized she wasn't feeling great and took her to Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital to be checked out. After spending the night in the ICU, her temp is almost back to normal and her tummy issues have subsided. We had a scare with her but all of the positive thoughts and prayers helped her pull through. This baby is a survivor!
Recently, we attended the Kentuckiana Cluster of Dog Shows in Louisville. We were busy talking with people and trying to get the word out about what we do and we forgot to post this adorable video and we just couldn't let it pass by. Enjoy!
I Lost My Son
Don’t judge the homeless. Almost everyone I know is ONE disaster away from being unhoused. Do your part by advocating for shelters and do what you can to help. If you see a need, FILL a need. - Beth
Miracle Panda
This week, we witnessed a miracle as Panda survived a fall from an overpass that was at least 2-3 stories high. Keysha, a friend to all dogs, witnessed the accident, found Panda below on the railroad tracks, chip checked her and discovered she was chipped to us and another outreach organization, Feed Louisville. Donnie and Camila were close to the area and rushed her to Jefferson Animal Hospital. A week later, she walked out of the hospital and jumped in her foster caregiver's car. The best news- NO BROKEN BONES. We are grateful that Panda is on the mend and staying with her special foster, Angie T.
All of our donations go to feed and provide care to those that are experiencing being houseless. Go to www.MyDogEatsFirst.org to donate.
Creed Goes Home
After a 4-5 day stay at Shively Animal Hospital, Creed is anxious to go home. He left with antibiotics, pepcid and a plan to be seen back in a week to check his white blood cell count.
