Winter HAYven Winter HAYven is dedicated to providing winter hay for thoroughbreds, off of the track, and support rescue and rehoming organizations. "One Bale At A Time!"

Winter HAYven is a Kentucky registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating hunger and neglect for thoroughbreds off the track by providing them with hay during the cold winter months. The emerging needs of unwanted horses off of America's racetracks has increased the need for foster/transitional homes, rescue organizations, medical attention and hay during the long winter mo

nths. Our goal is to ensure that no horse goes hungry, especially through the winter, when the green grasses of Spring and Summer are no longer available.

We are donating and looking for more donations to help these poor horses. We are researching the best way to insure the dollars are going to the right place. Please message us if you are willing to help also.

On Wednesday, Dec. 18, the Kentucky Humane Society rescued 13 horses from a farm in Franklin County after getting a call about them not being taken care of.
