Spending time with the baby
Our mini puppy socializer has been on the job!
Puppy Playtime with Arya, Serena, and Holly
I am a HORRIBLE cameraperson, so sorry if it makes you dizzy! They move so quick now! :-D
More playtime
Try to overlook the obnoxious barking of Sophie and Maya. They were actually protecting us from the UPS truck! :-D
Playtime
Scylla is determined to get over their ramp! She will conquer it very soon!
Scylla was saying, "Lay down already!" :-D
When everyone is down for a nap, but Rosie refuses to give in! :-D
Michelle Thomasson Clark I thought this was too cute! ๐
Puppy playtime! Sometimes they sound like a pack of velociraptors, but itโs normal puppy play and how they learn manners from mom around 6-8 weeks!
More playtime with the bigger pups
Busy day! The little babies got to play with our big(ger) babies today & they were so gentle and sweet with them. ๐
Puppies enjoying their slop! :-D
I've been having to supplement feed the little ones raw goats milk for the last few days due to mom having sudden, severe drops in calcium so I'm happy to report they enjoyed their first full day of puppy mush (blended puppy food + goats milk) today! They got full bellies and mom gets a break while she recovers, though she's not liking the PJ's too much! :-D
4 Week Old potty pad targeting.
One last video for the day, to clutter up the page! (I wish FB would create albums to keep videos in, like the photo albums) Anywhooo, as you can see, the babies are in the wee-beginning stages of using potty pads. By the time they leave us, we will be down to a couple of pads much further away from them and they will be mostly reliable at going to the pads. Apollo has the right idea, propping himself up while pottying! :-D (Please overlook my baby talk!)
Sleeping puppy pile
Just a big snugglefest!
Another video from moving day
Moving Day!
"There's so much room for activities!" :-D Puppies moved into their exercise pen yesterday. It took some getting used to, but I think they're loving it now!
What a difference a couple of days makes! They have become so active and playful and Zeus is already very observant! Weโll be ready to move into the big puppy pen tomorrow, with lots of toys and activities!
Starting out the new year with new babies! We've had a long and trying past 2 days, with the birth of 7 puppies (5 males, 2 females). One of our male puppies was such a tiny little guy (1.6 oz!) and I had high hopes that he would make a turnaround, but sadly, despite all my best efforts, he just wasn't strong enough and we lost him. The remaining puppies are: a chocolate & white female, black & white female, 2 chocolate & white males, and 2 black & white males. I will get clearer pictures when mom settles in more.
