Requests for service outside of these will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Every pet is special so I take pride in creating individual plans for your unique circumstances. I understand how daunting it can feel to leave your pets while you are gone. My goal is to make sure your pet(s) is relaxed, stays within a familiar routine and gets the same level of care as they would when you’re home. I

believe a large part in achieving this includes keeping them in their home and therefore do not offer boarding. Pet sitting and pet care is not a side job for me. I take this very seriously and treat every critter as if they’re my own. I have over 25 years experience with small and large animal animals and special needs animals (cancer, illness, paralysis, Cushings/diabetes, etc). I am bonded and insured, certified in animal first aid and cpr, double certified in equine massage, a member of Pet Sitter Associates (PSA) and working on becoming a certified fear free professional.

This is scary if it gets passed! They've worded it on the ballot so it appears to be a positive for Colorado. Please PLEASE do your research and vote NO on Prop 129.

Veterinarians practicing in Colorado today oppose Proposition 129. They know that adding mid-level positions doesn’t result in better clinical outcomes for animals.

Dogs, and arguably all animals, just know when something isn’t right. I’m still under the weather unfortunately but my lung does seem to be clearing up! Wise Shadow below offered all the snuggles while caring for her. 🥰

Well, while we’ve all been sick we’ve also been lucky to welcome our new rescue pigs, Anna (r) and Elsa (l)! They’re the sweetest piggies and love to snuggle. They’re also big Denver Broncos fans!

It has NOT been a good week here at the Duhancik household. This pneumonia is absolutely kicking my butt! I am still wheezing and crackling, coughing and have a fever.

Sweet, thoughtful, cute Tucker decided to help me out Wednesday by chewing my brand new Albuterol Inhaler 😡 Needless to say we spent several hours on the phone with poison control and in the emergency vet. The little sh*t is back home resting now and will make a full recovery thank goodness!

UPDATE: I now also have Pneumonia 😩 so I will most definitely be off grid for a few days. This is the absolute worst I’ve felt in years!

All jokes aside though, after evading it for 4 years I finally caught COVID. This is the weirdest sickness and a new symptom seems to pop up every day. This is truly kicking my butt and I need to take some time to rest. I will get back to everyone’s messages, requests, and changes by the end of the week. Thank you for your understanding!

7/31/24 CO Wildfires Update

Colorado wildfires update 7/31 from our current evacuation site. Thank you again Kelly for letting us use this space!

A second fire has started in Lyons. Video was taken at our evacuation site. Right now we are far enough east we can stay. Things happen so quickly though and we are ready to mobilize if need be.
