This week’s Pet of the Week is actually several wonderful farm animals! Rocky and Celeste are two Nigerian Dwarf goats, who live with their friends Duck the duck and Boarus the pig!🐖🦆 Rocky enjoys kisses and getting all of his itchies itched, and Ms. Celeste loves her heating lamp on these cold winter evenings.

Molly’s Critter Care pet sits for all different kinds of critters: goats, ducks, and pigs are just a few of the farm animals that I’ve cared for. I’ve also cared for horses, donkeys, llamas, sheep, chickens, and turkeys too!🐎🫏🦙🐑🐓🦃

🐾PET OF THE WEEK🐾

This week’s POTW is two lovely pups, Earl and Ruthie! Earl is a 6 month old Frenchie with an abundance of energy who loves to chase his ball and chew on toys. He recently learned how to go down stairs, and we’re very proud of him! He’s still working on going up them… but he’ll nail it soon!

Ruthie will be 6 years old in December. She is a red and white Boston terrier. I took care of Ruthie as a puppy many years ago, and it’s been wonderful to be reunited with her and her new little brother!

Both pups love spending evenings in front of the fireplace and chasing each other around the yard during the day. Work hard, play hard, sleep hard!!

Hello to all my wonderful pet sitting clients🐶🐱🐾

Lately, Molly’s Critter Care, LLC has been going through some changes! First and foremost, the MCC website has been completely revamped. There you will find detailed pet sitting information, client testimonials, and updated methods of contact. The old website is no longer accessible. If you’re having difficulties finding the new website, don’t hesitate to reach out and I will direct you to the new link!

Next! A lot of clients reach out to me with questions about my availability. Because of the type of pet care services that I offer, I can’t always accommodate all pet sitting requests. However, I have been working on a calendar that clients can view to see when I am booked, and when I have pet sitting availability. Hopefully this will help clients who want to book with me and would like an idea of what my schedule looks like! Please note that this calendar is an estimate and exact pet visit times may vary. This calendar is NOT a scheduling tool, just a reference to my availability. All pet visits must be scheduled by phone or email and will be confirmed via phone or email.

I have also updated the LinkTree in my bio, where clients can go to access my website, Facebook, Instagram, and my availability calendar.

🐾🐶Does your dog love going on walks?!🐶🐾

Lots of Molly’s Critter Care pups love to go on long walks to get in some good exercise, relieve stress, stimulate their minds, and bond with their people! Walking your dog is also a great opportunity to consistently train and improve your dogs recall, leash manners, and reactivity.

Do you know how long you should walk your dog for? Different dog breeds require different levels of activity. Small toy breeds may need around 30 minutes of daily walking exercise, while herding or working dogs need upwards of 1.5 to 2 hours of daily walking exercise.

One of my most popular pet services are daily dog walks. I offer 30 minute dog walks starting at $25 per session, and one hour dog walks starting at $35 per session.

I get asked a lot: “what kinds of pets do you take care of?”

The answer is, pretty much all of them!!

I have pet sat for a wide variety of animals over the last decade. Growing up on a farm allowed me the opportunity to care for many different animals, from itty bitty bunnies to dairy cows and horses. I’ve had clients with mini donkeys to parrots, from fish to alpacas, and everything in between. I have even pet sat for snakes before!!

Although many of my clients are dogs, I do offer a wide range of pet sitting services for many different types of pets. So, if you’re looking for a pet sitter that has lots of experience caring for and handling all different types of pets, then Molly’s Critter Care, LLC, may be the right company for you!

Say hello to Uma, a 13 year old long-haired tortoiseshell🐱💕 Uma is one of my many cat clients! Uma loves to lounge around in the grass, get daily brush-outs, and her favorite snack is wet food with a little extra water in it. She loves to chirp at birds and chase butterflies, too!🕊️🦋

Does your dog love to play fetch? Or maybe they just like to chase the ball😆🎾 Playing fetch with your dog is a great way to bond, get some good exercise in, and teaches your dog critical thinking!

Some dogs breeds are specifically bred for retrieval. These breeds include Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Border Collies, Pointers, and Australian Shepherds. Of course, many other breeds like to play ball too!

Molly’s Critter Care 🐾 Pet of the Week 🐾 is a very special one this week. Well, actually, four special ones…!

Meet the Great Danes: Aegon, Aspen, Maisy, and Xena, otherwise known as the “Dane Gang.”

Aegon is 4 years old, but don’t let his age fool you, he’s still a baby at heart! Aeggy loves his stuffed toys, eating ice cubes, and wrestling with his sisters.

Aspen is a 6 year old sweetheart with a beautiful harlequin coat. She loves to follow her people around and get all the scratchies. She also loves to steal Aegon’s stuffed toys!

Maisy is the mama of the dane gang! She is also 6 years old but she is definitely the one in charge! Maisy’s favorite thing in the whole world is sunbathing on a nice, sunny patch of green grass.

Xena is 5 years old and quite the little spitfire! She loves riling up the other Danes, and she especially loves barking during playtime. She also loves munching on ice cubes. When excited, Xena gets full body wiggles. It’s pretty darn cute!

Happy New Year from Molly’s Critter Care🎆🎉🎊

2023 was a big year for Molly’s Critter Care! In July, I officially launched my dream business after over 10 years of pet sitting, both independently and with a company. I’ve always known that animal care is one of my greatest passions in life: to me, our furry friends are our children, and they deserve only the best! I pride myself on providing top quality pet care for each and every client, no matter how big, small, or slobbery!

Thank you to everyone who has made this dream work and those who continue to support Molly’s Critter Care as the company grows.
