To Our Wonderful Clients,
I am so very grateful for your support over these last fourteen years. I consider it an honor to have your trust and the opportunity to care for your well-loved and well-groomed pets.
My staff and I strive to provide each guest an outstanding customer experience and to treat each pet as if they were our own. Together, when my entire staff is on hand, we tout over 120 years of combined petcare and grooming experience. This experience is valuable… and especially meaningful when grooming, handling and caring for your beloved family members. My goal has always been to provide a premium service at a fair and reasonable price. Our pricing for grooming sessions has always been all-inclusive, including important services that other salons charge extra for… nail dremeling, shampoo choice and coat conditioning are examples. As you are probably aware, many large companies have a starting wage of $15.00+ an hour, some offering financial aid for school, health insurance, retirement matching and PTO. It is nearly impossible for many small businesses to compete with that.
Our Spa staff is talented and kind and are of the age of becoming established in their lives… moving into their first apartment or purchasing their first home, or car… getting married, having their first child or paying for childcare or health insurance.
There is no good time to announce a price adjustment, especially for our loyal clients, however, it is for the livelihood of my staff and their families that I must do so.
The Spa team takes amazing care of our pets, even the naughty ones, and I want to retain their employment and provide each staff member an opportunity to build a better quality of life, or to at least, provide an increase in compensation to help them make ends meet.
The Spa will implement a price adjustment based on your pet’s breed, size, and style of trim, beginning on October 1, 2024 so that our team may continue to be compensated at a rate that allows The Spa to retain talented and kind staffing.
